Ruby stood in front of Ophelia as they both stared at each other.
“Aren't you going to sit?” Ophelia asked, breaking the ice.
“That looks like it hurts” She added in a low voice as she pointed at Ruby's wound.
“Yes.” Ruby drew out as she looked around.
“Let's sit there” She pointed at a chair as they both went to sit there.
Ophelia on one end, Ruby at the other end.
“Hmm, hmm” Ruby cleared her throat.
“I guess I can talk to you now” She stated, sensing that Ophelia was no longer angry.
If she was, she wouldn't have agreed to speak with her.
“I’m sorry” she apologized as she looked at Ophelia.
“I'm really sorry, girl. I never intended to hide the truth from you. It's just that the circumstance I was in, did not allow me to do so” She explained trying to keep a calm exp
