I ignored the text and continued catching up with Konnie, the way she looked at Jody was intriguing, the way they smiled at each other was an emotion I haven't experienced before. It looked a bit like love but a deeper kind, the kind you get lost in and find your way back again, it looked a bit like euphoria too and contentment all at once. They were telling me how they met, I heard the first few lines but the rest wasn't clear because I was concentrating, not on what they were saying but how they were saying it, retelling it like they were reliving it.
