13 years in marriage

Mirriam's POV Today is the day my dream comes true. I'm getting married to the man I love so much since high school. "I am so excited today! I can't believe it's today! the day I have been waiting for". I said that while looking myself in the mirror. "Well, today you gonna be Mrs Banda". My mind replied, making me plaster a smile on my face. Someone knocked on my door and I replied with excitement. "Come in". The door opened and it is non other than my mom. "Oh wow, my lovely daughter you look absolutely amazing". My mom is telling me because I'm looking pretty and has is telling me this, she's also dropping some tears, which is making me to also drop few tears of joy. "Yes today i want to look beautiful mom. It's my big day, plus am getting married to my dream guy". I'm replying to her with a smile plastered on my face. "yes my love". Mom replied and left the room to go check if everything is ready. As I am looking at mom leaving my room, i got distracted by the ringing tone of my phone, so I am walking towards my to see who is calling and it is non other than my husband to be, Daniel. "Hello my Superman". I have answered my phone. "Hello my beautiful wife to be". He's reply has just made me smile. I'm sure he's calling to know if I'm ready. "Are you ready to start our life together?". Well, just like I thought. He wants to know if I'm ready. I know why he's asking, he wants to find out if i haven't change my mind. Yes people change their mind on the final day, but come on, why would I change my mind when I'm getting married to my dream guy. Hell no! "Yes babe I'm ready". I'm answering while nodding my head as though he's looking at me right now and am almost dropping some tears of joy because am the happiest lady in the world right now. "Well, I can never be happier, i just can't wait to see you my woman and the mother to my children soon". Awww! He really knows how to flatter me. "Yes babe, i can't wait either to bear your children". I'm replying with so much joy. As soon as I have replied to him, he has said last words and hang up. "Ok babe finish up, i love you sweetpie, Bye". He sounds really excited. My Mom's POV Today is my daughter's wedding day and am really happy for her. The guy is a very caring man. I definitely needs to thank God for the goodness he has shown upon my man. So I am going in my room, I kneel down and thank God for everything. I have reached my bedroom door, I'm opening it so I can enter inside. "Oh thank you Lord for blessing my daughter with the most handsome man and i know that he loves her so much. May you bless both of them and may their journey together be filled with happiness and joy, Amen". I have said my prayer and I am remembering how I suffered before having Miriam. Flashbacks::::::::: "We have been married for over 9 years now but we don't have children. People calls me all sort of names and my relatives laughs at too". Mom is talking with a sobbing voice. "It's okay my love, so long I love you, then we are ok. we can adopt one child if you want, i have no problem with that". My husband is replying while holding me in his hands. "No way my husband. I don't want to adopt any child, i want to bear my own from my womb". I reply while crying even more because I feel really bad for what I'm going through. "It's okay honey, we will not give up, we will keep on trying. Maybe it's a test from God to see how strong our love for each other is. I love you and am ready to stand my by you no matter what". My husband is telling me while feeling sad. The next morning... (Phone rings) It is a new day in the morning. My husband's phone is ringing, it's either from work or from his mom because they're the people who mainly call. "Hello Mom good morning mom and how are you doing". My husband is answering the phone. I know it's mom cause he is just from say "mom". "I'm not okay my son! I want grandchildren!. I have found you a new wife and we have paid everything to her family already. We are bringing her this evening, she will start leaving with you two this instant". Mother in-law is replying from the other side. I have heard everything that mom has said cause the phone is on loud and what she has said with the finality in her voice. "But mom you can't do that without my concern. Me and my wife are still trying our best to have children. Why would you go and pay bride price without my concern and more all over Mirriam is going through so much right now and you want bring another wife for me??". My husband is replying with a concern voice. "My son we have given her enough time and she's not doing anything. She's just a decoration in that house. You can just bear children with Lisa. Trust me she's a lovely girl and am sure when you set your eyes on her, you will like her". Grandma answered. "And if you respect me as your mother, you won't refuse".She has added and hanged up. I am in bed pretending like I'm asleep, but I have actually overhead the entire conversation they had. My mother in-law has paid bride price for another wife and she's coming to start living with us, ouch! Lisa has been brought in to live with my husband and I and after few months, Lisa got pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl. And after few years later she has again become pregnant and when she is 5 months pregnant, I have also found out that I'm actually pregnant. Lisa has gaven birth to another baby girl while later I gave birth to twins, baby boys. End of flashbacks:::::::: "I felt like killing myself when i couldn't give my husband children. But my faithful God blessed me with 3 beautiful children". I said with a joyous smile on my face.
