Chapter Four

It's a brand new day. Miriam and Daniel are almost ready to go visit the person Daniel's friend suggested.

"Wow, my love you look amazing". Daniel said with excitement.

" Awww Really babe??". "Yes you look pretty". My mind is telling me in approval. "Well yeah, I need to look my best after all am sure I will finally get what I want, and that's my baby". I exclaimed.

"Oh yes, my love you're right". Daniel agreed and pecked Miriam on the cheek.

" That smile on your face makes me feel that everything will go well for us today". He added.

"Well, fingers crossed babe". She replied with a smile on her face.

Third person POV

(Incantations)...

" Come in my children, come in. You have indeed come to the right place and you will get what you want. Just mention it and it will be done in a blink of an eye". The shrine master said with his voice high.

"Oh God, I for once never thought I would come to a place like this in search of a child. But what can I do, I really need a child and if it means coming all the way here just to have one, then it's ok". Miriam thought in silence.

"Woman. You look very disturbed. Do you not believe that I can heal you??". The shrine master asked me as I had looked really disturbed and lost.

" Miriam, are you even listening to what he's saying??". Daniel also asked because Miriam was lost in her thoughts.

Finally, she answered as had been brought back from her thoughts.

"I-I-I... Yes, what did you say again?? Sorry I was lost in my thoughts. What were you saying?". Miriam stammered when answering.

" Honey, are you okay??". Daniel asked.

"Yes babe, I'm fine don't worry". Miriam answer.

" As I had asked you earlier, do you not believe that I can heal you??". The shrine master asked.

"I-I-I... I believe master, yes I do believe and that's why I came here in the first place". Miriam answered.

" Yes yes she believes master, she believes and that's why she agreed to come along". Daniel answered quickly because he thought the shrine master got upset. After all, Miriam had not answered him at first.

"Good. Now woman wash your hands, your face and your feet too in this dishwasher. And when you're done, your husband should also repeat everything". The shrine master instructed.

" Alright master". Both Miriam and Daniel answered at once.

"Well, we are done now master. Is there anything else we are supposed to do?". Daniel asked the shrine master.

" Now listen to me very carefully. Make sure that you put this in your water when bathing in the morning and evening. As for this, put it in your body lotion. Repeat the procedure for one week and after that, you will be happy with the results. Make sure you do everything according to the instructions. You can go now". The shrine master warned.

"Thank you very much master. We appreciate it". Daniel appreciated.

" Thank you master". Miriam also thanked the shrine master.

Daniel and Miriam got the medicine that they were given. Up on that, Daniel paid a huge sum of money to the shrine master think.
