“Charity, why are you crying?” Megan asked her daughter worriedly. She moved toward her and touched her face.
“I-I'm alright, mommy!” Charity began to sob, she was too emotional, and she couldn't stop herself from blaming herself. She knew that she was acting immature when it came to Harold. As she was crying loudly, Marcus went to her. He swallowed because Harold had already informed him about his plan, and seeing his sister devastated made him back out of their plan.
“Are you crying because of Harold? Before I went there, I visited him, and he seemed so busy. I found out that he got a reservation at an expensive restaurant. I thought you were the one that he would meet.” Marcus forced himself to frown, but deep inside, he wanted to punch Harold for making him his companion
