As I scrolled through my phone, leaning against my locker and waiting for the bell to ring, a bag of chips was placed in front of me before I could even turn my head to see who was holding it. But, after I stared at the bag for a few seconds, I turned to see Stiles standing there, with an apologetic smile on his face. "Your favorites."
Huffing at him, I took the bag from his hand and proceeded to do my thing. I heard him let out a quiet groan. "I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to expose you while being drunk, it really wasn't on my to-do list."
"But you did," I said, not looking at him. "You're lucky Scott didn't believe you, because that would've been traumatizing for me."
He sighed. "I know, I know. But I would never do that to you on purpose, ever."
I looked up at him, again, as I clicked my tongue. I could never stay mad at him. "I know that, but I was so scared for a moment. I thought everything would be ruined and that Scott would start to feel weird around me."
"Yeah, totally understand," he said, the two of us starting to walk through the hall once the bell rang. "But hey, Scott never takes me seriously, so he probably just thought that I was saying incoherent things while drunk. It makes sense, right?"
"I guess so." I muttered.
"So, you forgive me."
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," I said, rolling my eyes at him before he gave me a side hug and I playfully pushed him away. "So, where is he?"
"I have no idea, but yesterday, after my drunkenness had passed, I asked him for a favor. I told him to talk to Lydia for me and find out if she's attracted to me in any way, because apparently he can now smell jealousy-"
"What?," I cut him off, stopping in my tracks. My eyes were wide now. "So, um, he knows if people are jealous?"
Stiles immediately realized my concern, and he was quick to smirk. "Yup. So, you better watch yourself when you're around him and Allison."
"Oh, shut up," I huffed. We started to walk, again. "They're broken up, anyways."
"Really? Because he told me they were on a break."
"Well, he told me that she had broken up with him, so, what do you believe?" I gave him a knowing look.
He sighed. "So, they broke up. I bet you're happy."
"That makes me sound like a horrible person, but I'm not gonna lie, part of me is glad," he chuckled. "But a bigger part is just worried about Scott, and even about Allison. I mean, he was a mess the night they broke up, and I'm scared that he's gonna do something stupid because of this whole thing-"
I stopped talking and I stopped walking once I saw that Stiles had abruptly stopped his movements, frozen in his spot. "Stiles?," I tried to get his attention, but he seemed to be looking at something that was happening inside of the classroom we were just passing by. I didn't pay much attention to it at first, but when I decided to follow his stare, I gasped, wishing that I didn't. "Oh my God..."

When I got out of the bathroom, I bumped into someone because I was too busy drowning in thoughts that I couldn't get out of my head. ''Penny! I was looking for you.'' the person said before I could even apologize.
''Hey Allison. What's up?'' I said, smiling at her as if nothing happened.
''I need to talk to you,'' she said, and then she started to look around. ''Come with me.''
She grabbed my wrist and guided the both of us to an empty corner that didn't attract too much attention. ''So, what did you want to tell me?'' I asked, although I already had an idea of what it was.
She let out a long sigh before speaking. ''I...I broke up with Scott.''
I placed a hand on her shoulder. ''I know, Allison.''
She looked at me knowingly. ''So, he already told you?''
''Last night.'' I told her.
''Right,'' she said. "Can I ask you something, though?"
"Sure."
''Do you think it was the right decision?'' she asked.
I sighed. ''I honestly don't know what to tell you, Allison. If you feel like that was the right decision to make, then I guess that's enough.''
''I feel like it was,'' she muttered, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I kept thinking about it through the weekend and... maybe I should've waited longer to date him, because this was clearly not the right timing. I feel like I still don't know so many things about him, and that he's hiding them from me."
I nodded. It was understandable that she felt that way, because, of course, Scott was hiding things from her. But it wasn't because he wanted to, it was for her own good. But she didn't know that, either. "You should still talk to him, though, and maybe clear some things out. It'd be better to at least still be on good terms with him."
"Yeah, you're definitely right. I was thinking about talking to him, anyways," she said. ''And hey, I wanted to tell you something else. I don't why, but my family's been acting very weird lately, especially my dad and my aunt.''
''Oh, really?''
''Yeah," she said. I tried not to let her know about what I knew. "I mean, most of the time they're very secretive, but that's kind of a normal thing now. But, on Saturday, I heard both of them and my mom having a conversation. I didn't get what they were saying, but I did hear something about a 'family' and 'killing' someone, and that's not a nice thing to hear in a conversation.''
''Wow,'' I muttered with eyes wide open. ''That's... something."
"Yeah," she said, looking worried. "I really feel like I should find out more about that, and I have a feeling that my aunt could help me out."
I gulped quietly at her words. Kate Argent. Apparently, she was no good, according to Derek. But I couldn't tell that to Allison, so I just gave her a nod. "Just be careful," I said and she nodded back. ''Anyways, I gotta go, Allison. I'll see you later.''
"'Kay," And when I was walking away from her, Allison spoke once more. ''Oh, Penny?''
I turned around to face her, again. ''Yes?''
She looked like she really wanted to tell me something, but then she looked like she shouldn't and instead said ''Nevermind.'', walking away with a sad smile on her face.

I watched as Mr. Harris handed a paper to each of the students, biting my nails anxiously. We were having a surprise test today and, even though I felt like I could get a decent grade on it, I still felt nervous.
Proceeding to tap my fingers on the desk, I just kept on waiting, not thinking that the tapping would be a bother until... ''Will you stop doing that? It's annoying!'' Scott whispered/hissed as he turned around, glaring at me.
I immediately froze and broke eye contact with him. ''Sorry...''
He let out a sigh in frustration and turned back around. He had a better attitude last night; I didn't know what his problem was now.
I snapped out of my thoughts when a paper was placed in front of me. Finally I thought as I grabbed my pencil and started by writing my name. I immediately stopped my movements once I read the first question. It didn't make sense ... This was an economics exam.
Mr. Harris was our chemistry teacher.
Looking around, I saw that I wasn't the only one who seemed confused by it. Students around the classroom had the same expression as I did, but proceeded to answer the questions anyway, so I did the same thing. Luckily, I was pretty good at economics.
Half an hour later, I stopped writing once I saw Scott standing up and running out of the classroom, Stiles quickly following behind. ''McCall, Stilinski, get back here! Ugh, these kids are idiots...'' Mr. Harris said, muttering the last part and not even trying too hard to get them back into the room.
Once I exited the classroom, I spotted Calvin on his phone, looking up once I got out. "How did it go?" he said with a smile.
I shrugged. "It was okay, I guess. You?"
"Yeah, same," he said, burying his hands inside his jacket pockets. "But, how weird was it that it was an economics test?"
"Very weird." I answered and he laughed.
''So," he started, walking closer towards me. "Are you up for hanging out tonight?"
I smiled up at him. ''Of course.''
''Great. I'll pick you up at seven, okay?''
''Okay,'' I replied. At a small distance, I then spotted Scott, who was staring directly at us... or more specifically, glaring at us. In another situation, I would've just let it go, but yesterday I tried to do something nice for him, and today he seemed to be treating me like s**t, so, in order to anger him further, I grabbed Calvin's cheeks and leaned up to kiss him on the lips. It wasn't too long of a kiss, but long enough to make Scott leave, as I noticed once I pulled away from Calvin, who was grinning. "I'll see you tonight, then."
"Bye." he told me as I walked away to the opposite direction.
While walking, I saw Lydia coming out of the bathroom, and my blood boiled. I had been avoiding her this whole day and, apparently, she was doing the same. When she saw me approaching her, her expression suddenly changed to a nervous one. ''Penny, hi.''
"Hi, Lydia," I said, a fake smile on my face. ''Is something wrong? You look like something's bothering you.''
She shook her head violently, and quickly said, ''Nothing's wrong. Everything's fine.''
''Are you sure? Because you seem nervous,'' I said. "You haven't been doing anything you're not supposed to do, right?"
"Of course not!," she said, a little too quickly. Then, she cleared her throat to contain herself. "No, I'm fine. Anyways, I have to go now. See you tomorrow, Penny."
She walked away before I could say my goodbyes back to her, and honestly I was glad she had left. I didn't think I could keep up the act any longer and act like nothing had happened.
Like Stiles and I didn't see her making out with Scott inside of that classroom earlier...
