"Alright girls, that's it for today," the teacher's shrill voice pierced into Mia's ears. She instantly opened her eyes, or she thought she did, because her eyes were already open. It was her consciousness that was closed , she was there, yet not there , insusceptible to what was happening around her . She did not move a muscle but blinked by squeezing her eyes shut and opening it to recall what just happened. Is this because of the lack of sleep?! Mia wondered .

"Meet you girls on Monday," the teacher announced, followed by the school bell . Mia checked the time | 3:55 | , girls around her proceeded to stand up slowly, or did she feel like they were?! .She tried to relax by leaning back into the chair, looking up at the ceiling. Definitely not on drugs , Mia thought . She had sleepless nights before , but now what's happening . After several minutes, the class is empty. , proceeded to stand up and exit the class . and then that's when she felt it the same feeling which she had been getting since she set her foot in that classroom . She turned around to the back of the room and stared at the lockers, Her eyes widening, she says to herself , ' is that a leg?'
