The next 3 weeks went by quickly. We had our visits with the kids; most of the time Tristan was with us, but sometimes, on a Friday, his dad would pick him up from school. The kids enjoyed the visits, but I could tell they enjoyed the ones at home more than the Tuesday visits. Jonah had been getting more jobs. He had bumper stickers, magnets and business cards that he handed out to help promote his services. We started holding sales every other weekend to try to get rid of stuff Jonah collected from cleanouts. We usually made at least a few hundred dollars, if not more. Any scrap metal he picked up, he turned in weekly. He made trash runs at least a few times a week, depending on how much is unusable.
