Now that Jonah had gotten me an engagement ring, I wanted to start deciding on our wedding date. Unfortunately, with what was going on with the kids, I wasn’t sure we’d be able to yet. Besides, I did want a spring wedding so it would have to wait until next year at least. Jaxson’s birthday was in a few weeks, at the beginning of March. He was turning 12, his last year before he becomes a teenager. I knew we couldn’t do much, but I planned on having a little family party at our home visit. I went over my idea with Jonah and he was all for it. I called Diana first. “Hello?” she answered. “Hey, Ma, it’s Taliah,” I said. “Oh, hi. What’s up?” “Well, as you know, Jaxson’s birthday is in a few weeks and we get home visits now,” I started. “Yea, Jonah told me about that. How are they going?”
