It took a few days for Missy to be tracked down. Once she was found, police scouted where she was staying to make sure she did have the kids. After it was confirmed that the kids were with her, the local police surrounded her location so she couldn’t make a run for it. We don’t know how the whole operation went down; all we do know is that they were able to arrest both Missy and Dennis and they found our kids.
The kids were brought to a local hospital to be thoroughly checked out, making sure the kids weren’t harmed in any way. Social services were contacted by Kaci explaining the situation. The worker she spoke to set the kids up in a foster home for the night so they could rest before making the trip back to Rhode Island. Kaci actually went down to retrieve them and bring them back home
