ONE Sunday afternoon Emon had gone to Deb’s house. At the Das’ house he rang the calling-bell. Mrs Das opened the door.
“Is Deb there?” Emon said.
“Yes – go, he’s in his room,” Mrs Das smiled.
Inside, in the drawing-room, Emon saw an aquarium and looked at it for a minute. Then he went to Deb’s room.
There, Emon found Deb sitting on a chair and reading a book. Deb said: “Emon, I was just thinking of going to your place.”
“Who brought the aquarium?” Emon asked.
“I made it.”
“When?”
“During the summer vacation. Did you see it?” Deb said putting the book on his bed.
“Let’s go and see it again,” Emon said and they went out.
