The party must be perfect, Anastasia wanted to make a birthday party that would last in history, for the first time her Father King Triton gave consent to organize a ball party specially for Anastasia. She had never been given a chance like this, her 4 step sisters had countless of ball parties for their birthday, since she was the youngest child and the only daughter of late queen Elizabeth, King Triton's first wife, who died during childbirth. Anastasia felt her father grew no love for her because she was the cause of her mother's death, well she grew up with no mother and pretty much got used to not being loved, but she wanted her father to acknowledge her, and a sudden ball party in her honor was something she felt extra happy for. The new queen, Queen Matilda, was once a concubine but became a queen after queen Elizabeth's death, she had 4 female children and a male child that went to war side by side with king Triton. Queen Matilda was a person who made life in the palace hard for Anastasia, she treated her invisible and tortured her treating her the same as maids in the palace. Anastasia thought it was finally the time to show her competency to her father and win his love so she decided to make the ball a perfect one. she had not seen her father in years and sent countless letters to him but he never replied any of them and at some point she thought the letters may have never ever gotten to him or he never read them. whenever it was King Triton's birthday, Anastasia made sure to send the first letter, but she stopped sending them for a while and suddenly got a letter from her father. My dear daughter Anastasia Howard, it breaks my heart to hear from you every time, you remind me of your mother so much that whenever i see you i feel sad. i have failed you as a father, forgive your ignorant father my child and accept the offer of a ball just for you. i hope to hear from you as soon as possible and it is very possible that i quit war camp this year since its your mother's last wish for me to quit war camp but i was ignorant, I'm ready to quit war camp and come home. yours sincerely King Triton Royal stamp ------------" The hall had been set and Anastasia was the most happiest on earth at that moment, she hid in her room and peeped to check the visitors that came from other kingdoms. Her ball dress was amazing, a long blue dress adorned with gems, diamonds and crystals, it was her mother's dress but it was hers now. She felt hesitant to wear it, she didn't know what she would look like when she put it on, a knock came from the door and princess Amelia, the first daughter of Queen Matilda came in which was a surprise, since she was someone who despised Anastasia. "hey!", Princess Amelia said and Anastasia took three steps back, "calm down I'm not coming to harm you or anything, I'm just here to...... wish you luck....... and I'm sorry for how i acted to you in the past, and I'm here to help you". This sounded like a trick to Anastasia but she wanted to listen to what she had to say, "what did father tell you about quitting war camp", princess Amelia asked and Anastasia also found it odd that he was quitting the war camp. "he said it was my mother's last wish for him to quit war camp", Anastasia said and princess Amelia laughed, "and you actually believed that?", princess Amelia said and laughed like she said something funny. "just get to the point", Anastasia said feeling uneasy, "if he quits war camp, who will be in charge of the external wars", Princess Amelia asked and she was right, if a king was to quit war camp, a person of royalty had to fill in for him and he can't possibly let his only son lead a war. "he can't possibly let Louis lead the war camp", princess Amelia said and Anastasia was tired of waiting. "that means he has a someone powerful fit for the role........... and we both know the person has to be royal and strong, the only person fit to win a war aside from father has to be someone that doesn't lose in. war", Amelia said and Anastasia wasn't interested in all that. "we have no one in our family to fit in that role, so someone is probably getting married", princess Amelia said and Anastasia smiled. "we all know its you getting married, you are the eldest", Anastasia said smiling and Princess Amelia shakes her hair in pity, "you know......... i heard a very weird rumor that is very concerning", princess Amelia said and Anastasia looked troubled. "no that's crazy, I'm sure the banquet is just for my birthday nothing else, if you are not married how can he get me married, and to a murderer?", Anastasia said and ran to her window, she saw king Triton and a man that had a sword by his waist, no one would carry a sword to a banquet if not prince Lucian. She freaked out and didn't know what to do but she didn't want to be certain about it yet, "I'm not quite sure but my hunch keeps telling me there is a possibility of it happening, and when it does......... i don't want it to be a shocker for you, but don't be terrified yet, it might just be a normal banquet......... i have to go greet father, bye...... well your dress is quite beautiful", princess Amelia said and walked out slamming the door. "a normal banquet?", Anastasia said to herself and wanted to believe it was a normal banquet,babe didn't want to be late , so she dressed up in a hurry over thinking everything. ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** ***** Anastasia walked down the stairs, taking steady steps, her heart beat ran faster and thumped loudly, she stared at her 4 sister's and read their expression, princess Sarah looked normal, "princess Anne had a smiley face on, princess Catherine looked normal since she was a cool type and princess Amelia looked like the world had fallen, this expression made her terrified as the guests were all staring at her including her sisters. King Triton looked as calm as before and had a faint smile on, and Prince Lucian turned facing her, fear gripped her and she wanted to lose consciousness but not in a banquet. he looked enchanting like a Disney character, his dark hair was long and swept to the back, his left eye was blue and the other was red, which was quite unusual, his lip color was magenta and his nose was pointed. his face looked like a perfect piece of artwork and he was a definition of beauty, he had a huge figure, he was tall and his smile was like a charm. he looked at her and locked eyes with her, it felt enchanting but looking at his sword she got terrified and looked at her Father, he just smiled at her and she knew something was off. Anastasia took the last step into the hall and all eyes was on her, "behold my beautiful daughter princess Anastasia", King Triton announced and everyone wanted to drink wine with her. She looked at prince Lucian like watching a movie but looked away sharply when their eyes met she prayed silently in her heart not to get introduced to him. "Anastasia!, get over here", King Triton called and she felt like her world has crashed, she closed her eyes and opened them, taking a deep breath before turning. She walked to her father avoiding eye contact with prince Lucian staring right into her father's eyes. she got to him and exhaled silently, "Father", Anastasia greeted and bowed slightly, "prince Lucian meet me my daughter princess Anastasia my youngest child, Anastasia this is prince Lucian, greet", King Triton introduced and Anastasia knew exactly what was happening at that moment. "Prince Lucian, it is an honor to have you at my birthday, a toast to you", Anastasia said and took a cup of wine from the table. "cheers!!!", the guest chorused sipping their wine, Anastasia hated wine but drank it in a gulp, Prince Lucian didn't have a taste of the wine not even touching it. "prince Lucian, have a cup of wine", Anastasia said handing him a cup filled with wine, "i don't drink it, the smell of it annoys me", Prince Lucian said and his enchanting voice was like a melody. "a warrior...that doesn't drink, come on its a happy day, have a cup", Anastasia said and prince Lucian pushed the cup away slightly and spilled some on her dress. He didn't apologize but had a simple smile on his face, "i guess you are a bad drinker, i bet you can't possibly win a drinking competition", Anastasia said and prince Luciano's smile didn't leave his face. "good for you", prince Lucian said and it was annoying, "attention everyone", King Triton said and Anastasia's hand trembled, "I'm using this moment to announce the marriage between my daughter princess Anastasia of Avalon and prince Lucian of Cosmos kingdom", King Triton announced and the cup on wine in Anastasia's hand fell to the floor spilling all over.
