Luna Aurora "Rory" Thompson struggled with self-doubt and insecurity, often feeling overshadowed by the beauty of those around her. Her lack of confidence had a profound impact on her relationship with her Alpha mate, Zephyr Handerson, who she thought seemed repelled by her simplicity.Desperate to capture his attention, Aurora made repeated attempts to express her feelings, but each effort ended in failure. Her heart remained devoted to Zephyr, and she clung to the belief that he would someday return her affection. However, her world was shattered when she discovered Zephyr in a compromising position with another woman, Nina. Instead of apologizing or showing remorse, Zephyr lashed out at Aurora, criticizing her appearance and leaving her feeling humiliated and broken.Consumed by grief and despair, Aurora fled to the forest, seeking solace in its solitude. Tragically, she was ambushed by a pack of rogue wolves, who brutally attacked her, leaving her shattered and broken. When Aurora thought it was a dead end for her, she found herself transported back in time to the moment she first met Zephyr, armed with newfound power, confidence, and determination. She was given a second chance to rewrite the past and correct the mistakes that had led to her suffering.Aurora was determined and had a burning desire to exact revenge from Zephyr. Reborn as a transformed woman, she vowed to capture Zephyr's heart on her own terms.A year later, when their paths crossed again, Aurora greeted Zephyr with a sly smile, her former trembling expression replaced by a fierce inner strength. Zephyr, who loathed the woman, was also helplessly impressed by her, who exuded confidence and poise.Their game of love, power, and deception began, with Aurora holding the reins. Aurora and Zephyr's mating ceremony ended with a night of unfulfilled promise. Defying convention, Aurora refused to be dismissed, instead weaving a sultry spell to lure Zephyr into her snare. But just as Aurora thought she had the upper hand, Nina appeared, determined to claim Zephyr for herself. Nina expertly played on Zephyr's emotions, slowly trying to turn him against Aurora, but his love for her only grew stronger.Aurora's own existence began to fade at an alarming rate, and she knew she was running out of time. On the night of the full moon, Zephyr discovered Aurora's desperate situation and set out to find her.He tracked her to the edge of a cliff, where she was standing at the precipice, her form slowly dissolving into nothingness. Zephyr's eyes widened in horror as he realized he was about to lose Aurora forever. He rushed to her side, embracing her as she faded away, and begged her to stay with him. Nina appeared, her eyes full of hatred and jealousy for Aurora. In a fit of rage, Nina stabbed Aurora mercilessly.Aurora fell into Zephyr's arms, and he was consumed by a mix of horror, anger, and desperation. He held her close, feeling her life force ebbing away, and unleashed a mighty roar that echoed through the land.Zephyr's pack arrived on the scene, and they were met with the devastating sight of their Alpha's mate lying wounded in his arms. They immediately turned on Nina, who was forced to flee for her life. The pack's healer rushed to Aurora's side, and Zephyr begged her to do everything in her power to save Aurora. The healer revealed that the price of the magic was Zephyr's own blood, and he willingly offered his wrist to save Aurora's life.As Zephyr's blood mixed with the ancient magic, Aurora's body began to transform. Her wounds healed at an alarming rate, and her eyes flickered open, shining with a newfound intensity. But as Zephyr watched Aurora rise from the brink of death, he felt his own strength waning. His blood, infused with the power of his Alpha lineage, was the key to Aurora's survival – but it also came with a terrible cost.As the days passed, Zephyr's condition worsened, and he became increasingly frail and ill. Aurora, determined to save Zephyr, set out on a perilous journey to uncover the source of the dark magic. She scoured the land, seeking out ancient texts, wise sages, and forgotten lore. As she delved deeper into the mystery, Aurora discovered that the dark magic was linked to an ancient artefact hidden deep within a long-abandoned temple. With newfound resolve, Aurora prepared to face the dangers that lay within the temple, knowing that the fate of her beloved Zephyr hung in the balance. She rushed back to Zephyr's side, the cure clutched in her hand. Then they knew that their love conquered it all.

CHAPTER 001
I was on the verge of tears; every inch of me was trembling, and I just hoped that the person in front of me would at least do anything—anything to explain the situation. That was my last hope. "Zephyr... why?" My tears streamed down my cheeks as his sapphire eyes held nothing in them. No regret, no guilt... just blankness. And it shattered my heart into pieces. "Why? Do you still ask why? Are you stupid or are you just pretending?" He questioned, his tone was as sharp as a knife, and it stabbed my already broken heart really hard. Zephyr, My Alpha mate, who I was so very fond of, proudly cheated on me with another woman from our pack. If love is blind was a person that would be me. I was blindly and crazy in love with him since he was my mate and I have always respected our relationship even though he completely ignored my existence. He never loved me and I could see the hatred in his eyes when we were announced as mates. I did my best to love him despite the way he acted towards me but he never noticed my efforts, not that I made them very noticeable. "I love you, please" I reached out to grab his arm, but he jerked it away. His eyes were cold, almost freezing. He looked away from me, his eyes held a strong, intense sense of hatred. Shouldn't I be the one to get mad at him? Then why do I feel rather helpless and guilty? As if it was all my fault. "I have decided. I don't want to see you anymore," He said, and I froze on my spot. No, he wouldn't. "What... is that supposed to mean?" My tears continued to. Stream down my cheeks as I reached for his arm; this time, he did not push me away. Instead, his cold eyes bore right into my soul, stabbing daggers. "I, Zephyr Handerson, renounce you, Aurora Thompson, as my chosen mate" My world stilled and the air around my throat tightened, suffocating me. He had rejected me. Oh, Zephyr Handerson had rejected me as his mate. "No, please," I cried shaking my head as no. He just blankly stared at me. No emotion. Nina, the woman he'd cheated on me with, let out a snort. "You cannot do that!" I screamed clutching onto my heart that shattered into pieces. Was it so hard to love me back Zephyr? "I can do that. I am the Alpha and if you want any justification for my actions, here look at yourself" He turned my face harshly towards the mirror. The woman who'd stared back at me had a worn, weary face with deep lines etched around her eyes. Her skin was sallow and dry, with a rough texture that spoke of endless hours of physical labour. Her hair was dull and mousy, pulled back into a tight, unadorned bun that emphasized her sharp, angular features. Her eyes were a dull, faded brown that seemed to hold no spark of warmth or kindness. Her clothes were plain, nothing compared to Luna's of other packs. Her world was as grey as the ashes of an extinguished fire. But again, she wasn't like this from the start. "Zephyr. I love you" I whispered, shivering. His eyes never softened instead, he stepped back from me. "Go back to where you came from, Aurora" He was the one who made me what I am today. I'd doll up for him, only for him to ignore me. I'd make his favourite food only for him to turn down my offer. I'd try to show my love for him only for him to push me away. He never loved me, to begin with. He only loved women who were a masterfully crafted porcelain doll with a physique that seemed chiselled by the gods themselves. Face that was a symphony of precision-placed features, each one a testament to the wonders of modern beauty standards. Eyes that sparkled like diamonds, lips that curved like a Renaissance painting, and skin that glowed with an otherworldly radiance. He wanted me to be a woman whose words were honeyed and insincere, dripping with saccharine sweetness that made your teeth ache. He wanted me to be someone whose very existence seemed to be a carefully constructed illusion, a fairytale princess who had come to life. But I did not want to live in plastic. I hated every part of that life. Maybe I was too busy telling myself that he'd definitely notice my efforts and love me back the way I was, and the thought of him cheating on me never came towards the light in my mind. "Please—" He shushed me by pointing his index finger at me. He put a robe on his bare body, dismissing Nina from the room. Now it was just the two of us. "Please leave, Aurora,", He said, not looking at me. I gulped glancing around the room one more time before slowly walking towards the door. I am pathetic. I saw my mate cheating on me, and instead of minding my self-respect, I decided to obey him and take the cowardly way. Crazy. Isn't it? As soon as I was out of the pack house, I couldn't help but look back; the memories of the time I'd spent there played right before my eyes. My tears couldn't stop as I wiped them before shifting to my wolf form. I let my wolf take control and sprinted out into the forest. I couldn’t go back to my parents like this; I couldn’t face them with this embarrassment. After all, the only thing they were proud of was my role as the Luna of the hybrid pack. My steps haltered as horror swept across my whole body. Their red, gold eyes stared at me. Their sharp claws ached for my skin. I turned around but saw that I was surrounded. Surrounded by those beasts who'd torn me to pieces and won't have mercy on any piece of me. That was it. I was going to die an embarrassed and pathetic death. Before I knew it they jumped at me and all I could see before myself was black.
