Than to make real fire
then just look at yourself.
When I entered that b & b the only thing I wanted was to find her there. I would have used the excuse of looking for Milla just to be able to see her, and, I don't know what moved the universe, luck was on my side!
Before entering, she was able to observe her while she retrieved a magazine, throwing herself on the small sofa positioned there, specially. She lifted her left leg, straightened it, and then began turning the pages. She surely she did not read, observe and criticize.
I could recognize a woman's expressions based on how she frowned at her whether something might interest her or not. I looked at it and I liked it. I don't know what it was that was so beautiful that it took me so much, but I was attracted to her, by her expressions, by the way she looked at me last night, and by her acid responses from her, as if she didn't care who was in front of her. . She looked as though she had armor that made her strong with anyone standing in front of her.
She evident, however ..
I seemed a fool to stay there, in a corner, as if to spy. I decided to enter, and immediately our eyes met. She lifted the magazine to her face to cover herself. But, then, she liked me too ..?
The lady behind the desk looked at me too, and then asked me what she needed. I asked if Milla had booked the room for this evening as well, and when the lady walked away, and I turned around, I could notice her as she went back to lifting the magazine, covering herself. I walked over to the love seat opposite the one where she was, and sat down. A grin appeared on my lips; I waited for her to wipe that stupid magazine off her face.
“Do you still have so much to look at?” Her tone sounded sour, and that's what she most took from me last night.
I began to laugh, clearly amused by the way she was doing. She noticed it, and nearly lowered her defenses for a thousandth of a second. How insecure can a person be?
A lot, and I was proof of it too!
“Do I embarrass you, baby?” I asked her. I don't know what I used that tone for, but she was baffled for a long moment.
"But who, you? But do me a favor!" She went back to hiding.
I smiled, at the same time the owner came back to tell me that she didn't have any other reservations under that name. I thanked her, before leaving, I winked at her. I was sure she had turned color to her cheeks at that gesture.
And how beautiful could a girl be when she blushed from such an insignificant little gesture?
Milla wasn't like that. Milla didn't blush. Milla never tried to stand up to me or be sour on me. She was simply Milla.
I didn't want to be an asshole about the situation, but she commanded me, and I was following her like a fool. But not only because I had feelings for her, also because Mario knew everything, and was counting on me, as long as I was the one to take care of her. Milla was drifting, and I was her firm point of hers.
But I was getting tired too.
I got tired of running from side to side. To worry and feel bad when she pushed me away.
Like last night..
I hadn't been able to let go last night. I was there, with her, but my head was elsewhere.
***
"Milla told me about last night .." Mario murmured, blocking my fist. That afternoon he had come to train with me.
I looked into his eyes as I hit. I didn't answer.
“Think she doesn't turn you on anymore.” My friend continued, parrying every blow.
"She tells you everything, I see! Have you clarified?" I asked trying to gloss over the initial discord.
"Yes. She called me last night, actually, tonight around two I think .. she was crying." He confessed. "Mirko .."
I rolled my eyes and stopped, knowing where this was going.
"You know how Milla is .."
"Mario, please! Can we not talk about it?" I asked, taking off my gloves.
"And when would you like to talk about it? Only you can make my cousin stay with her head on her shoulders! I don't want her to suffer!" He exclaimed, worried like a brother, like a father.
I looked at Mario and then let out a sigh. "Later I'm going to pick her up from school, then I'll take her for a ride .."
Mario patted me on the shoulder and I gave a hint of a smile.
I put my shirt back on and took the pack of cigarettes from my bag, going outside. I lit my cigarette and started running my finger on the mobile phone screen. I had messages from Milla. I ignored them. I would have answered her later.
I looked up and saw her. She stood alone, with headphones on, looking around as if she were looking for something.
Was today my lucky day? Yes, obviously yes!
When I saw that she was about to walk away from her, I put my cell phone in her pocket, and throwing the butt of my cigarette, I started running towards her.
I grabbed her by her wrist, and she gasped:
“Are you crazy?” She burst out, angry.
I smiled. "You would have run away and then with these you would not have heard me .." I stroked the wire of the headphones that touched her neck.
I brushed it too.
She took my hand away, and they walk away, taking them off.
" What do you want? "
“Are you always this sour?” I asked.
"Yes, with you yes." She smiled amused.
" Do I like you? "
"But who knows you? Mamma mia!"
She started walking and I went after her, amused by this situation that had arisen. She was so beautiful.
“Will you tell me your name?” I asked.
" I do not care. "
"Mine is Mirko." I continued.
“I didn't care to know.” She turned to me, and we were inches apart. What a strange situation.
“Will you tell me?” I asked once more.
She walked away just a little, rolling her eyes in annoyance:
"Alessia."
"Mirko we have to continue training!" Mario shouted from the gym door.
We both looked at my friend, who after noticing her raised her eyebrows.
He would have filled me with questions, so I mentally prepared myself.
"Yes, Mario! Now I'm coming!" I said, turning towards her, I smiled. "Shall we go out one of these days?"
" No. "
"Don't be tough, baby .." I moved closer to her. "Even just for a coffee one of these afternoon, what do you think?"
“I think about it!” A wry smile appeared on her face. I started laughing at her, and here she was rolling her eyes.
"Now I have to go, and you too. See you." She dismissed me like that.
I watched her until she disappeared into a sleeper.
I went back to the gym and Mario was sitting on the bench, barefoot. He looked up at me, questioning:
"And who was she?"
"A girl I met yesterday. She passed by and I said goodbye." I shrugged, walking towards the locker room.

I was sitting on the panda, waiting for Milla to get out of school. He had chosen to attend the evening because he thought it suited her and her concentration better.
I snorted and lit a cigarette, thinking about that girl, Alessia.
I couldn't understand how someone could change you in a short time. I wanted to see her again, to see her go down that street, and her little smile on her face that made me believe she was happy to see me. And she was her! As sour as she was, I had noticed that she, too, was into me.
“Mirko!” Milla ran towards me, throwing herself into my arms, and squeezing me. "I'm sorry about yesterday .." she whispered.
I shook her head, stroking her back and smiled.
"Shall we go to that b & b yesterday? I want to spend the night with you .." she had started kissing me on her neck, and with her hands she was holding the fabric of my sweatshirt.
"It doesn't seem like a good idea, Milla .." I muttered, looking at her.
Indeed, she was not! I didn't want to see her and have Milla with me.
"Come on my little one .." she said with a chant.
I nodded.
I was a jerk!
When we got in the car, I took the road to head towards the b & b, but inside I didn't want to. I didn't want him to see me with Milla.
I swerved, turned off her engine, and pounced on her, kissing her passionately.
"Mirko .."
"Sh .. I want you too much." I murmured in her ear, resuming kissing her.
And after I deprived her of her clothes, I undressed too, lying badly on Milla and starting to push myself inside her.
But she was in my head.
