To save the now Bankrupt Tael Company, the Tamsons must seek help from the much feared business tycoon, Daniel Peterside. However, Daniel seems to seek from this family, the almost impossible in return for his funding. "I think we should give him what he wants" Mr Tamson said with a grim look. "What nonsense are you sputtering! There is no way I'll let my daughter get married to that crippled, no sane eyes have ever beheld!" Mrs Tamson barked. "Hold your horses my love." Mr Tamson said, sipping on a glass of Chardonnay. His wife could decipher that her cunning husband sure had something up his sleeves. "You seem to have something on your mind, let me in on it." Mrs Tamson said with rapt attention. Suddenly falling quiet, Mr Tamson, dropped the now empty glass on the table, and turned to his wife with that grim look still on his face. "Don't you think this is the best way to get rid of Kisha?" He said with a sly grin. "My world! I never even thought of it. This is a way to get rid of your concubine's daughter, and still put her in abject misery. You sure are one deadly, sly man, that I love so much!"

Chapter one
"What on earth is keeping your boss?" Mr. Tamson asked the dashingly-suited gentleman. "He'll be here shortly. Do you both want anything?" The young man asked with a straight face. "No, thank you. We are fine." Mrs. Tamson said "Alright then. If you'll both excuse me, I'd like to attend to something briefly." He said that and left the couple in the exquisite office. "Honey, you should learn to be patient. Are you trying to ruin our last shot at this?" Mrs. Tamson said, glaring at her husband. "I know he is keeping me waiting on purpose. Oh, how I wish I hadn't lost my glory. I would have dealt with that brat!" "Shush!" Mrs. Tamson warned. "My goodness, what on earth is wrong with you? Don't you know when to kill your deadbeat pride? Well, for starters, now is that time. You know we need his help right now because he's our last resort." "I know, and it's rather unfortunate." Mr. Tamson hissed. "Is it?" A voice rang, making the couple jump to their feet. "Goodness! What was that? Who are you?" Mrs. Tamson rattled on in fear as she hid behind her husband. The voice suddenly began laughing, making the couple even more frantic. Suddenly, the door opened, and a man in a wheelchair rode in. "He's.. crippled?" Mrs. Tamson mumbled. "Good day, Mr. Peterside." "Daniel would be much preferable" "His guts!" Mr. Tamson thought. He sure felt like yanking the crippled man off that wheelchair and making him sorry for treating him this way. "My apologies, sir. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Daniel." "I can't say the same," Daniel said, and rode his wheelchair, with the help of a remote, to his huge desk. "Hello, Mr. Daniel." Mrs. Tamson said, finally finding her voice. "And you are?" Daniel asked with his eyes fixed on the paperwork on his desk. "I'm Mrs. Tamson. My husband has told me a lot of wonderful things about you. Sorry, I looked a bit aghast earlier on, it's just that my husband never told me that you'll be wearing a mask.. not like I'm scared or anything like that." "What is she blabbering about?" Her husband thought, winking at her to stop jabbering. "Mr. Tamson, When you told me you were coming, you didn't tell me you'd bring your chatterbox with you," Daniel said, his gaze still fixed on his work. "Ha." Mr. Tamson let out a fake laugh, trying to make a joke of the embarrassing situation. Abruptly stopping what he was doing, Daniel turned to the couple and signaled them to take their seats. "So what exactly do you want?" He asked with a stern tone. " Yes. The thing is that my establishment is coming down in shambles, and all my shareholders and investors are pulling out. I need your help, Mr. Daniel." "Ok, so you need my money?" Daniel asked with a smirk. "I won't exactly put it that way, sir," Mr. Tamson said, feeling quite flushed. "You bet. Well, as you already know, I am a business-minded man. It will be tit-for-tat." "Whatever it may be, sir, We are ready." Mrs. Tamson said, suddenly springing up. Her husband turned to her in perplexity. "Is that so?" Daniel asked Mr. Tamson, who soon turned from his crazy, desperate wife to the devil in front of him. "Yes, sir, but I ask that you please make it a fair deal." "Oh, sure. It will be more favorable to you in the long run." Daniel said, picking up the telephone on the desk and dialing a few numbers before speaking to the person at the other end. "Yes, bring in the document." Almost immediately, the same man who attended to them earlier came in with a black file jacket and brought out some papers, giving them to Daniel. "Now, Mr. Tamson, take this," Daniel said, handing a copy to him. "This is an agreement stating that I will happily give you the sum of fifty million dollars if you..." "What rubbish! How dare you?" Mr. Tamson exclaimed in a rage, lifting his walking stick in a bid to hit the crippled masked man with it. "Stop, honey! Have you lost it?" His wife warned as she held her enraged husband back. "What is the problem? What does the document say?" She asked in a bewildered state. "If you do not take that thing off my face, I'll command my PA to beat the daylight out of you with that stick." Daniel thundered, making Mr. Tamson shudder to his knees. "How can someone rage on with a calm demeanor?" Mrs. Tamson thought as she slowly pulled her husband down to sit. "B...But this is impossible." Mr. Tamson said it with a weak tone. "What is it?" His wife asked, getting irritated with the suspense. "Oh, can't you pick up the document and read woman?" Her husband said in an outburst. "He wants us to marry off our daughter to him in return for his funding." "Hell no! I mean, Mr. Daniel, that can't be possible." Mrs. Tamson said, with a shaky voice. She couldn't believe this was happening to her family. How could she allow her precious daughter, to end up with a crippled man? He's bloody rich, quite alright, but no! "And why is that, Mrs. Tamson? I thought you wanted my money so desperately." Daniel asked, feigning concern. "Yes, but this." "Anyways, I'm done here. I have a meeting to attend. I give you seven days, Mr. Tamson, to sign that, if not, the deal is off the table." Daniel said, with an air of arrogance, and left the couple traumatized. They were quietly led out of the office. "That bastard is retarded!" Mr. Tamson fumed as they both got into the car. "Where to, sir?" Their driver asked. "Are you mad or something?" Mrs. Tamson said as she was enraged. "Home, of course." "Ok, ma'am." The drive to their twenty-million-dollar mansion was quiet as they both thought of the mishap that was about to befall their family.
