Chapter 1
The sounds of giggles and moans caught Emilia’s ears as she approach the classroom. She pushed the door open and stood froze for a moment, staring at the two who stared back at her.
They both quickly jumped off of each other, her friend, Patricia tried to fix her hair, letting out slow breathes.
Emilia’s eyes fell on Felix, her kind, innocent boyfriend who claimed to be a virgin and knows nothing about s*x.
His lips was stained with Patricia’s ridiculous red lipstick. The zip of his trouser was undone, if she hasn’t come in, the two would probably be naked right now.
“Oh, for f**k sake. At least cheat with someone better” Aurora spat and shut the door, turning back.
Without waiting another second, feeling irritated. Rather than head back to the field, she walked to the infirmary.
“What’s wrong?” the nurse asked her.
“I think I’m sick, to my stomach” she let out, a disgusted countenance rest on her face.
She went ahead and lay down on one of the beds and pulled the cloth to her face, taking a deep inhale.
She shut her eyes and open them, tears formed in them. She cleaned it off refusing to waste her tears on assholes.
--
When Aurora woke up again, an hour has passed. She pulled the cloth away from her head and stepped out of the room.
The moment others set eyes on her, there were whispers and side eyes ogling at her. Aurora let out a scoff ignoring it.
From the distance, she sight Patricia and Felix standing so close to each other by the lockers. Their eyes met and she saw the smirk that Patricia held.
It was giving eerie, and it made Aurora suspicious.
She glance back at the eyes staring at her and her heart raced a little. She grabbed her phone from her pocket seeing everyone staring at theirs and checked.
‘Aurora Blackwood is a shameless ‘w***e’ she tried to seduce my boyfriend and even made everyone believe that they were dating. I can’t believe she would stood so low.
No wonder her Dad abandoned her’ the post reads.
Aurora looked up from her phone, her eyes turned livid with trembling rage. She charged at the two, running forward.
The two widened their eyes and tried to invade her but it was too late. Felix pushed Patricia forward to save his nose.
The punch landed with a nerve cracking sound, causing a painful scream from Pat. She didn’t have time to process the pain when she was grabbed by fuming Emilia.
This time, Felix stepped him to stop her. “Are you crazy?” he yelled, pushing her off.
Aurora chuckled dryly. “Crazy? Let me show you” she snapped and this time, went for him. She slammed her forehead against his and threw him against the locker. She paused surprised at her own strength and looked at Felix who got a bleeding nose.
The scene already attract quite a number of students, watching and enjoying the sight. They all took out their phones taking shots and videos.
“How dare you touch me? My father is not going to let you off.” Felix yelled. “I will ask him to send you and your f*****g mom out of this town” he threatened, trembling as he tried to stop his nose bleed.
Emilia’s hands clenched again, she moved to send him another punch to shut his mouth up finally when the teacher’s voice stopped her from behind.
--
Aurora stood outside the principal’s office, her back rested on the wall.. she ruffled her hair, angry that she had let those two douchebag irritate her.
The door opened and the secretary invited her in, Aurora walked into the large room to see her mum, standing and bowing in front of Felix’s parents.
Anger rushed to her chest and she quickly rushed forward to stop her. “Mum, what are you doing?” she fired, her eyes dashed to the two in front of them in a glare.
Mona, her Mum pulled her to the side and shook her head, telling her not to say a word.
“I’m sorry. I promise I will talk to her” she said.
As much Aurora want to flare up, she held her tongue, her jaw clenched tightly.
“Sorry is not going to fix my son’s face. This kind of violent behaviour should be addressed, who knows who else she might beat up?” the mayor, Felix’s Dad let out angrily.
Even his mother scoff, her nose raised. “Her and her mother don’t fit this town. They just keep causing trouble” she spat.
Aurora moved, ready to smash the glasses on her face but her Mum stopped her again.
The principal turned to her mum, a displeased look on his face. “Sorry won’t solve this. I’m sorry but I have to suspend Emilia.” he said.
Mona’s countenance fell, she shut her eyes and slowly nodded. Again, she apologize, restraining Aurora with her grip.
They walked out of the principal’s office, outside to the parked car. As Aurora got in, she caught Felix staring at him with Patricia cuddled against him, they both threw her mocking gazes.
Without flinching, Aurora raised a finger. “Keep f*****g yourselves” she mouthed as her Mum drove out of there.
--
When they got home, Aurora tried to rush upstairs immediately, not wanting to have a talk with Mona, but she stopped her before she could escape.
“I’m changing your school Mona announced.
Aurora turned around, a hard scowl on her face. “What?! why? Because of what they said?”
“No...” Mona tried to say but she cut her short.
“Fine. I don’t like it there anyway. I never felt belong” she stated and start to walked away again.
Mona rushed to stop her, grabbing her hand. “It’s to protect you. This place is no longer safe for you” she stressed, her eyes grazed with worry.
Aurora arch her brows, breathing in. “What are you talking about, Mum?” she asked.
Mona hesitated, the truth heavy on her lips. She caress her hand, trying to find a better way to tell her.
“You are a werewolf, Emilia. I’m sorry I hid it from you all these years” she revealed.
Emilia’s lips parted slowly, she squint a bit, trying to process. A short chuckle came out, but soon drown down.
“Is this some joke?” she questioned.
But the dead serious expression on Mona’s face gave her the answer. Slowly, she withdraw her hand from Mona’s, looking stupefied.
Her brows knitted, her head thrown into a state of perplexity.
