“Good morning ma’am, How was your night?” Rudy asked her
Oh! She’s awake, I can’t even sleep last night. But I should go to work cause I don’t like being lazy. Eating my breakfast, I think am late for work so I stand up
“Maeve you can tell Rudy to help you if you need anything” facing her and she nodded
“Oh! You are going to work, alright bye” she smiles cutely
She looks so beautiful even though she just woke up. Am I supposed to find her pretty. Am having a hard time through the night cause i keep thinking about her and thinking how cute she is, I don’t want to admire her. it is what it is, She just wanted to help me with Chloe and that’s all
I went out and told Rudy to follow me out cause we need to talk.
MAEVE POV
I stretched out from the bed and I stand up but to see Myles dress for work. He looks devilishly handsome this morning like he looks so cold
“Good morning, how was your night” the butler said
The memories of last night rush into my head. Before I can reply I heard Myles call my name and I looked at him.
“Maeve you can tell Rudy to help if you need anything” he said staring at me.
“Oh! You are going to work, alright bye” I smile to wish him good luck. I was thinking he going to stay with me at home cause he own the company and he can go there at anytime he wants but since he’s already dressed all I can say is bye but he didn’t reply me and went out.
I felt shivers that went through my spine at his cold reaction. Did I say something bad? He is not the cold type he’s always playful around me or is it because he was going to work.
I was interrupted in my thoughts by a call which was a video call
“The new Mrs Wilson how are you!!” Ella and Alice shouted with a smile
“You guys are so funny, you don’t need to call me that!” I smile back then I wave to them
“Well, now you are the latest couples in the city, all the internet is all about your marriage even though I don’t know the reason you guys didn’t use your pictures. Except for those who attended most People don’t know what you look like, they just knew the wife is from a rich family” Ella grinned
It’s for the best! I don’t have the intention of casting myself now
“Maeve you never told me that your husband is Myles Wilson I was shocked when I saw him, don’t you know he’s people crush and I won’t lie am also one of them. You know how handsome he is, he looked like he was sculpted differently to be perfect”Alice said and Ella added
“That’s right! The height, his style, the face and his green eyes is to die for, everything about him is perfect” she kept talking about him
“Girls, do you wanted to talk about him or me. Am your friend and am the one you are supposed admire. You haven’t even say this kind of thing about me before” I complained cause they kept talking about Myles not me
“But we do tell you are pretty every time” Alice said trying to make me laugh
“But it’s different!” I pouted
“Am sensing someone is jealous here” Ella winked at me
“It’s wasn’t like that”’
“Hmmmm” Ella said raising her eyebrows
“Wait! did he has a younger brother or elder one? Am sure they will also look alike”Alice asked curiously
“Oh my gosh! You girls are so annoying” and they both laughed
“Jokes aside, how was your night? I mean the night” Alice said with a curious face and Ella nodded. They came close to the screen it’s like they are going to pop out almost of the screen.
“Am curious as hell! What really happened” Ella shouted, my face turn brightened red
“Ooooooooohhhhh!!!!!” They both looked at each other and shouted with a smile
“They went far more than we think, how was it!” Ella whole face was on the screen she’s too close
“It wasn’t like that am just embarrassed, yesterday was filled with awkward moments”
“And can you please stay back, it feels like you are going to come out of this phone” I added and she grinned
“It’s a must for you to be embarrassed, am sure you like it cause you keep blushing”
I was just thinking about the movie we watch together, how he helped with my zip and how I was caught while admiring him not something else cause we never had sex
“You see, she kept blushing!” Ella pointed at me to Alice and she also nods “Yeah that’s right!”
“Did you call to make fun of me, you guys like to gossip a lot and even if we both did it do you think am going to tell you guys? Tttchh!” I sneered
“Wow! Some one is getting annoyed just because she doesn’t want us to know how far she went” Ella mumbles
“Ella! Do you know I can hear you, I think you have a problem, not just one but a very big one! Do you know what?”
“What?” She asked with a smile and added “Are you ready to tell us”
“Yes I am” I replied with a smirked
“That’s why I like you” she smiles softly and Alice said “I know she’s going tell us”
“Yes, what I wanted to tell is that you guys need to stop gossiping and leave me alone cause NOTHING NEVER HAPPENED!!!” I snapped and they just blinked like they still didn’t believe me.
“Alright am hanging up bye!”
“Oh! Our little Maeve is now a grown up” Alice teased
“Maeve!” They call my name playfully and I quickly cut the call
They both love teasing me, they are so annoying! I also think it’s my fault cause I look unbelievable like they just asked me how was my night and I kept blushing when nothing happened
While I was busy with my thoughts I was interrupted by my mom’s call
“Hello!”
“Oh! My daughter how was your night” mom asked
“My night is quite okay”
“I mean how was your night?” She sounded so curious. Why is everyone asking about my night? Am tired of this people, why can’t just take my normal answer? my night was good so what else
“Mom!!” I felt a little embarrassed
“Maeve! How are you feeling?? Hope you are not tired? Can you walk well?”
“Mom what are you saying? What kind of question is this! Why won’t I be able to walk well when my legs is still intact!” I understand what she was trying to say
“Okay, I was already assuming you won’t tell me anything” she smile after the sentence
“My night is good mom and that’s it” I gritted
“But…”
Today is really going to be a long day

“I meet her in the club, She’s one of the prettiest I have ever seen” Alex says to his friend
“Do you just want to f**k her or you want me to give you a go ahead or what? cause you don’t use to tell me something like this” Tony said looking confused
“No I don’t, I like the girl. I can’t help but keep thinking about her, she’s keep running through my head” smiling at the memories of us almost kissing
“Alex?? You like her?” He asked and I nod “Wow!”he exclaimed
“Really? So do you have her number?” He asked facing me with a grin
I hesitate before I said “No
That’s right we are supposed to exchange numbers so we can be in touch but I didn’t even realize
“What!! Cmon!” He looks disappointed
“Who knows maybe I might have had some bonds with her if we aren’t interrupted by her friend so I didn’t even think introduce myself to her. I left and I don’t even know why?”
“You should have waited, then you will have introduced yourself and have her digit!” He said and added “So do you think you will meet her in the club again”
“Am also curious cause it’s was her first time and it wasn’t really a good experience, she looks like she wasn’t a party type so am guessing she won’t ” I said with a slight sad smile
