The arranged beginning

The day

"Oh my God! You look so pretty!" Alice commented on my looks after am done with the makeup and the dress

I look at myself in the mirror and I saw how really beautiful I look. I smile but deep down am scared and nervous, I felt like am really getting married.

"Babe you looks so nervous!"

"Really? I thought I was hiding it" I grinned and Alice said

"You don't need to be, you are getting married and you are supposed to be happy. I know you can be a little bit nervous but yeah everything will be fine am sure of it. You know everyone of us got you right?"

Her words was assuring and I smiled "Yes I know"

Am sure if the time allowed mom she will have be the one to say this but she's so busy and am happy cause if dad allows her she going to stay with me and if she says this words to me she going to cry thinking she will have to send me away and I can't bear to see her cry too. And that would have definitely ruin my makeup cause am going to cry

I smiled at the thought

"Maeve, it's time to leave!" Ella came in and I get up

"f**k! It's happening" I mumbled

"Every one let go!! We shouldn't be late!!" Ella shouted and we all moved out.

Oh my goodness! I can't believe what am seeing!!

I thought it was supposed to be a small party as Elias as said but to my surprise, it was full of business men's and families

I forgot that even if dad called just small people what about Mr Wilson.

My bad! Am so nervous right now.

The pianist was playing, My dad was the one that took me to Myles as we walked slowly to the stage

then he handed me over to Myles and we both face the pastor with my veil on

(Am sorry am still an amateur at writing this so all about the weddings and Vow, So am going to skip all what the pastor and the couples says)

"Are you willing to accept Maeve carter as your wife?"

I glanced at Myles but he replied with a smile "I do"

"Maeve carter are you willing to accept Myles Wilson as your husband?"

I hesitated at first, I don't know why. We already planned this so why the hesitation? maybe because I felt like it real or I wished it was real at the moment so I muster up the courage and smile

"Yes I do"

"It is my great joy to pronounce you as husband and wife. You may kiss the bride"

The audience clapped and Myles move forward

Wait did I forget about this? We are meant to kiss today! I can believe am losing my first kiss all in the name of this plan stuff.

He opened my veil but he look shocked and I don't even know the reason why he was, but I whispered to him

"Are you really going to kiss me?" I asked softly

"Yes —sorry! Erm —No I mean " he stuttered in a cool way

Him being close to me made me notice how handsome he was and all his perfect features

"Oh!"

"But you know we don't really need...." My sentence was cut off by his kiss

My heart started beating faster and I was shocked but I had to close my eyes

He really did, I just have my first kiss. I know I don't like him but I feel ....

He had a look that I can’t help to notice, he somehow kind of shy and he can’t even look at me in the eyes at first then he smiles at me. My heart skipped, he looked perfect that I don’t want to take off my eyes for that moment

The audience clapped and I saw my mom she looks so happy that tears were dropping out of her eyes while my dad gave her an handkerchief but he also had some drops in his face.

"All the families can come together to take pictures with the new couple"

"Congratulations dear I can’t believe you just got married" my mom smiled and I can see how happy she was. My dad step forward and and clear his throat

"Congratulations"

"Thanks dad" I replied but I noticed he has a guilty conscience look and I know what it is.

"Dad I know this happened in a way that wasn't supposed to, but am really happy beside I was marrying the hottest guy in the city, you really knew my type" I smiled and both my parents laughed

My parents were now sure that it wasn't even arranged anymore but love, even though it wasn't but i just have to make them happy.

My parents was the first to take pictures with us then his parents and my friends too, then Everyone

"Smile" the photographer said and we all smiled

"SHUTTER SOUND"

MYLES POV

"Your house is so big, it was twice our house" she said admirably

"And you are the only one who lives here?"

"Yeah with my workers" I replied and she nodded

"Congratulations" All the maid chorused as they greeted both of us

"Oh! Thanks that was actually nice of you" Maeve said happily

"Am going to walk the couple to their room" the butler said as he showed the directions with his hands

"Alright" I said and I followed him

They changed the room, this is not the way to my room. I guess we are just sleeping there tonight

We both walked inside the decorated place with all necessary things

"Have a lovely night sir" Rudy said

"Thank you" I replied and he left

"Wow! This is so beautiful" Maeve exclaimed until she saw

"Maeve are you a cake? Because you're sweet and irresistible."

Am sure this is mom's doing. She even told them to write some cheesy lines how childish!!

She felt awkward and everything was silent

"Erm.. am not the one who wrote all this" I tried to clear any confusion

"Oh! I understand" she said shortly

And everywhere became silent again

"So what are we doing?" I asked as I unbutton my suit trying to break the silence this time.

Am a man, of course I should be strong and outspoken.

"Sorry what?? D-doing W-what?" She stuttered cutely I can see her blushing.

"Nothing" I smiled and added

"I was just saying cause we are just standing and doing nothing so I have to ask"

"Oh! That?" Her face lightened up with a smile

"Yes, what are you thinking?"

"Me?? Nothing, am not thinking anything bad. Of course no bad thoughts" she said as fast as she can

She looks so cute right now and I can't help but to laugh

"Why are you laughing?"

"Nothing" I replied

"I need to go and shower I will be right back" I said and left for the bathroom

Oh! I forgot to tell her something.

I went back to the room and added " if you need anything you can take the telephone there and call a maid"

"Alright thanks"

I went to the bathroom and I can't help but to recall how beautiful she looked as I opened her veil. Her makeup is always horrible but still I thought that that's how she looked and wasn't even expecting much but seeing her today gave me a complete shock cause she looks so different and very beautiful that I can't even resist and I even stuttered. It wasn’t like me even when I was dating Chloe

After I finished showering, I went back to the room and saw her still sitting there where I left her

"Are you not going to switch your clothes to a comfy one?" I had to asked cause she just seated on the bed and staring around before I came in then she switched her gaze to me

She just keeps staring I think she zone out

"Maeve??"

"Oh! Sorry you said what?"

"I mean you were still wearing your gown and I think you should go and change to a comfortable outfit"

"Oh! I tried but no one is picking the phone and I can't loose my zipper" she smiles awkwardly

"No one is picking up?" I went there and I tried but no one is really picking up even Rudy??Is this planned or what? I guess I would have to go and meet them myself.

I wear my clothes and started walking out

"Where are you going?" She asked so I stop and reply her

"To call a maid for you?"

"Erm— since they are not picking I guess they are asleep or they thought we needed privacy? As you can see they put all the necessary things here even the wipes I will be using to clean my makeup to the clothes I will be putting on and everything else" She explained

"So are you going to sleep in that?" I asked raising a brow

"I will be fine" she smiles

I know she don't want me to go and call anyone but there's no way she can be sleeping in those it's a very big gown and she can't even manage lie down, Not to talk about sleeping.

"Okay I'll help you with it" I have to volunteer for this cause who knows if this was even planned by my mom or the Rudy cause I know they didn't pick the call up on purpose.
