Walking to the club, every where was lit! The lights were crazy! A lot of people were dancing and there's also a table for people who just wanted to drink and vibe.

"Maeve!!"

I smiled and walk up to them "How do I look?" I ask with a smile turning around

"OMG! You look............ just—— okay!" Alice eyeing me from head to toe said with a disappointing face

"Ooh!! C'mon, this was my first time wearing this clothes! it's new and I thought short skirt with crop top will be okay for this!"

"You are okay baby girl, you look nice. You know Alice love wearing revealing dresses"

"That's right, you got to show some cleavage you know! Look at me" she stand up and turn around.

I almost started drooling.

I can see guys staring at her as she stands, especially those ones near our table. I decided to ignore them and continue our party.

I went to the bar to get my self a drink

"What do you care for ma'am" the bartender ask with a smile.

I wish I can say:I want a bottle of Hennessy But I don't dare

"Am okay with any type of mocktail" I replied and he gave me a glass of it

I went back to my sit and we started talking and laughing. Alice got a lot of people staring and even though am not looking around I can feel their eyes.

I looked beside and I feel a gaze of a guy staring at our table. Alice!! I think she was the most hottest girl here tonight. Let me look at the face this time

I looked at him but to my surprise the direction of his gaze was not at Alice. Oh! Ella, I look at Ella, it wasn't

Me??? He was staring at me!

Alice went to the dance floor and started whining her waist, she was dancing sexily. God only knows how many guys she might seduce tonight with her dress and her dancing skills.

I rolled my eyes and sip my drink, before I knew it Ella also joined her.

"Really girl?"

I was vibing to the music and hype them a little bit “Go girl!!” I said and they both Laughed

I was now the only person on the sit. I was looking at my friends dancing yet i kept feeling the gaze, I tried to ignore it but am feeling uncomfortable. I went to the bathroom to ease myself cause am already feeling nervous.

"Oh! Sorry" I apologize for the interruption of the couple making out.

Couples? Am sure most of them were strangers!

After finishing my business, I went out but I saw a drunk guy standing in front of the door.

"Hey pretty!" He said with a smile and he was reeking of alcohol.

I forgot it's wasn't a best idea to go alone to the bathroom especially in a place like this with drunk people. What am I going to do? Slap him? Run?? Shout?

I smile and was about to walk away but he grabbed my arm with force "Am still talking to you, where are you going?"

It wasn't like people are not there but they are busy making out and don't care about others.

Damn! All his mouth even stinks. At least he should brush his teeth and I can’t help but to ask

"Sorry do you use to brush?" I asked curiously. Wait is this what matters right now??

"What??" He wondered and then continued

"Let make out, I really like you" he said with drunk voice

"Am sorry I have a boyfriend!" I replied and I tried releasing my self from him but he's strong

“A boyfriend?” He scoffed

Oh God! I hope someone just walk in, and save me from this s**t.

"Maeve!" Someone called

The person walk towards me and removed his hand of me.

"Who are you?" The drunkard asked

"Her boyfriend" he said and we both left the place together.

"Oh! Am so sorry" I heard the drunkard scream from behind

My heart was beating loudly, was he the one?

We went out together, I needed some fresh air, then I was able to see his face

"Are you okay?" He asked

I can't even describe how handsome he was! He's perfect. Oh! He was the one who was staring at me!

"How do you know my name?"

"I heard it when your friend called you" he replied with a smile

"Why are you staring at me earlier and how did you know am in there or was it coincidence?" I asked while staring at his handsome face.

He smiled then said "I was only admiring, I don't even know you caught me"

I hold a straight face but deep down.......

Omg, He was admiring me! Am falling in love. His smile was so cute!!

"So when I saw you left, I knew something is going to happen cause that bathroom was for hoes and people who probably want to have a quickie. I was supposed to teach him a lesson but I don't want to cause a scene"

"You sound like a regular here"

"Not really" he replied staring at me and the conversation turned to a flirty one

"There's another bathroom for people who really need to use one, So I was thinking you are new here" he said and move closer and I wasn't even resisting.

"Yeah" I said and we both smiled and he comes closer and....

God this is happening! It's happening!!! My first kiss.

"Maeve!" Ella called and we quickly separated

Fuck this! We are about to kiss! Why did she as to come by this time.

"Oh! There you are!" She came closer and I had no choice but to fake a smile cause deep down am angry at her not coming minutes earlier. Maybe after we are done kissing and it's get awkward, that will have been the best.

"Why are you here alone?" She asked

I looked at my back and saw that he's has gone.

I don't even get to know his name! f**k!!

"We already finished with your bridal shower so what next" Alice asked with a innocent smile

Bridal shower?? The thought of it was making my laugh.

"You called this bridal shower?" I scoffed

"Since you only told us you are getting married, and we didn't even know your boyfriend and you didn't even think about you getting a bridal shower cause I know you people from rich families only get married and that's all. So we planned on going to the club with you for the first time"

"You guys knew I don't have a boyfriend, it was just an arranged marriage" I blurted out.

I don't think am supposed to say it!

"What?" The shouted with a pitied voice.

I don't like the way they are looking at me, it made me remember the time am crying about it.

"But—— after the date I fell in love with him!" I lied

"You mean it! You don’t need to hide anything from us" Alice said with a concerned face

“No am not, at first it was but I now like him after seeing our second date” I explained with a assuring smile

"Really?" Ella asked worried

"Yeah! So let sleep!!" I changed the topic.

I felt like if Alice had seen me earlier she's going to feel like am cheating on my husband to be. I will have to explain everything and the feeling they had for me will change from happy to pity one. I love their happy reaction when I told them about it.

It better if I kept quiet.
