"Ok" I said and hung up
I called my dad just now, I told her that I wanted to meet Maeve again. He was so happy thinking that we got along and I even wanted to see her again but it’s was because we need to talk
I noticed the way she dressed and everything, it really shows that she was doing it on purpose so that I can think she's really ugly and crazy cause there’s nobody who wants someone who is crazy and It all ended in the conclusion that she doesn't want me neither do I.

It’s feels somehow to me cause she’s not even denying that she didn’t like me. Mostly all the girls usually want me but I don’t really care if they do or not but why did hers matters. I think it’s one of the reasons why I wanted it to be her.
"Okay, how about you stop the hate and let's work in cooperation with each other”
"Why should I work in cooperation with you?"

"Because we both need each other?" I looked at her but she looked me with a confused face.
"I didn't need you at all Mr!" She said carry her bag and tried to leave, standing up.

"I think talking with you is crazy! You must have lost your mind!!" She said and wanted to walk away. I quickly followed her and hold her hand to stop her.

Maeve POV
"Wait!" He hold my hand and I was really surprised and nervous at the same time
My heart started beating faster

I quickly remove my hand from him and reply him like I wasn't surprised
"You don't— have to stop me, I don't have- any to say again" I said but I stuttered a little bit and faced front started walking towards the door
"I know you don't want the marriage to happen" he sat down then added

"But if you are not interested, you can leave" he started drinking his wine.
Of course am interested! but I thought he didn't catch that before? I guess he's not dumb
I turned back and sat in front of him
"I thought you didn't quite catch that?" I scoffed
"Incase you don't know, am really smart" he said with an egotistical smile
Looking at his smile and answer, oh my goodness he's so arrogant
"Have someone ever told you that you are so arrogant?"
"A lot and I think that's one of my characteristics people are attracted to"
"Good for you" I said with a note of irony in my voice.
"So the marriage?" I raised a brow
"Ok" he said shortly
"I know you don't want the marriage to happen but I need to"
"I don't really understand, you said you had a girlfriend isn't?"
"Yeah I kind of, that was the main reason why I wanted to do it?" He replied and continued drinking.
"Because of her??" I asked with a confused glance
"It’s was now kind of ex cause she betrayed me" he said and drank another glass
"She cheated and never felt remorseful. I was really sad and that's when my dad called about marriage plans" he smirked and continued.
What how can someone cheat on him, he has it all money, he’s tall, handsome and somehow cool
"I pulled out my anger on him that I never wants to get married or fall in love. But I think I still like her"
Wait he like her after what she did? Wow his love is real and f*****g crazy
"I just thought I shouldn't forgive her easily and I don’t want to but I can’t still let her go. I don't know if she really loves me or not. She didn't talk about getting my forgiveness and I guess she only loved me because of my money"

"Are you sure you are not obsessed with her?" I asked him cause how can he still likes her. He smiles and replied "100% not"
"I wanted to get married to make her jealous and come back to me" he said and kept drinking.
What? Make her jealous! First I thinks he needs to stop drinking
I collect the glass from him and he looks at me.
"Enough, too much of drinking is bad" I said.
"I could have canceled the wedding and choose another person or arrange a contract with someone but the reason why I choose you was because you didn't care about what others think about you"

"Look at you right now" he said and laughed at my look.
I know I look horrible!
"So you do know how to laugh !" I reply with a smile
I think he's a little bit drunk, he just still maintaining his body because I think his alcohol tolerance is over average.
"You are bit drunk?" I asked
"No! I just wanted to express my self better" he replied
"I hate when guys have low tolerance of alcohol" he added
What? Thank God he said 'guys' I also have low tolerance to alcohol.
"What do you think?" He asked
"Am sorry, I don't want to help you cause I don't want to get married" I replied
"Yeah right"
"But if you agreed, we are going to get married for 6months. It will favor your dad and mine"
"Erm..." I was speechless
"At least is better than to be stuck with me forever cause that what our dad wants and we didn't love each other" he explained.
That's right, my plan is not working and if I later end up with him I will be stuck in the marriage without love forever but if I agree with the plan it will favor my dad cause he will have got what he wants and also favors me.
I will have chance to find my true love and get married to my dream man
"So what do you think?" He arch a brow
"Am in" I think this is going to work out cause I don't care if the girl thinks am a b***h or not, am going to try my best.

"At first I don't want you to runaway from me, but I later consider it that it's better for you to marry someone you love than be stuck in a sad marriage forever" she said with a teary smile
I was also crying cause she was really sad and it's getting me emotional.
"I was also trying my best but I don't want to runaway! No, Your health can't take it!"
"Am going to be fine, am really going to be fine" she cried and I console her

But what about my mom? She will be sad if I said am going to marry him without love. She's an hypertensive patient, I don't think I ever want her to find out.

"Condition?" He arched his eyebrows
"You are going to gain a lot from this but what am I going to gain?"
He was speechless and I continued
"But I don't really care, all I want is I don't want my mom to know this. We need to act like a happy couple in front of her" I explained
He nodded in agreement
"And one more thing!" I quickly added
"What is it?"
"Send me your picture"
"For what?" He asked with a slightly softer smile
Why did he smile? Maybe he thought I was feeling him?? Okay maybe a little bit but I don't want his picture so that I can admire him
"Just for identification of course! I think I need it" I explained
"Okay! Deal" standing up then he says
"Then get ready tomorrow"
Tomorrow? For what?
"What are we doing tomorrow?" I asked with a confused expression
"You need to get ready of course, we are getting married next tomorrow so it will be better for you to be prepared isn't?"

"Why are being in so hurry? There's still much time left!" I blurted out
"Because it's was the day they picked" he gave me an envelope.
Day they pick? As how?
"What is this?" I asked as I unfolded the envelope.
Staring into the paper very well I realized what it's was.

"I don't know if you can see clearly but this is an invitation letter" he said and he was about to go
"Wait!"
"Now you are the one holding me" he said looking at his hand at first then me.
"Sorry, I just want you to explain better. Like am seeing my name there and yours so it's really confusing" I said nervously and I removed my hand.
"I can't understand, I just told you am in, So when did you do this?" I added with a very confused face.
He smiled and replied.
"Immediately i told dad that we are getting along?"
Why is he talking like this? This is getting more confusing!!
"As how??" I still can’t get it
"He told me he wanted to call your dad and I guess that's when they talked about it and they picked the wedding date"
"So what if I said am not okay with it? Like if I didn't even accept the deal" I raised an eyebrow
"That, I don't know but I do know that no matter how, we are still going to get married" he said shortly
No matter what my plan is, the wedding date is on? And he didn't tell me or mom?? this is surprising
That's means even if I didn't accept his deal, we are still going to get married and I will be stuck with him forever?
My jaw dropped realizing it, what?
"Wow! Being from a rich family is crazy! Especially my house!!" I mumbled
"I was thinking of giving my fiancée a ride but I was busy as you can see" he said showing me his phone.
He had a business call.
Who said I want you to give me a ride? That's ridiculous. I rolled my eyes and said
"You can take your call and go wherever you want my soon to be husband" I teased
"I think I like that" he said with a smile and left.
I don't know whether I should be happy or sad? I guess I should be happy cause I take the deal, I will be free in the marriage and It is just for six months then we are going to divorce each other
While I should be sad because dad betrayed me, he picked the date even when he knew I don't want to get married to him and he didn't even tell me?
