Under attack! What did they mean?
My heart was racing as I heard the urgent shout.
"Everybody take cover!" My feet pounding the floor as I rushed to the door, i felt as if i pissed myself a little. I flung it open, revealing a chaotic scene in the hallway.
Servants and guards hurried past me, their faces set in determined expressions. I saw the Pack's emblem on their uniforms, the symbol of the Pack's legacy. My breath caught in my throat as I realized the gravity of the situation.
I dashed out into the hallway, my feet pattering on the cold stone floor. I followed the stream of guards, my eyes widened with fear and excitement. They poured into the courtyard, where more guards awaited, armed and ready.
