Chapter 21 It was almost five o’clock and Chris still hadn’t heard from Dylan, Ron, or James. He sat on the sofa and flipped through the muted TV channels. There hadn’t been any news stories about Dylan and Ron’s arrest, so he trusted that they were safe, but there hadn’t been any news involving Bart Nolan, either. The Ford Explorer they’d found at Nolan’s house had to be enough evidence to pull Nolan in for questioning. Chris had a difficult time believing that Bart Nolan was the killer, but the weasel of a man could have hired the job out, or at least knew something that would provide a lead to the real killer.
