Marigold suggests that Lillian should pay attention and pull her head out of her ego. Suddenly, the stranger appeared before them and introduced himself as "Josh" shifting the conversation. Josh focuses on talking to Lillian, mentioning that he overheard their conversation about movies. He notices their enthusiasm and initiates a discussion. Marigold and Lillian exchange a glance, and Lillian responds positively, describing the movie as nice and engaging. Marigold felt odd and decided to check her messages but sadly there was nothing to even check, her social life was that dry. She wanted her best friend to take shots for her because she's way to shy to snap in public but her best friend was preoccupied. Josh suggests moving to a nearby bar to continue the conversation. Marigold hesitates, feeling like a third wheel, but Lillian encourages her to enjoy herself. She clearly refused and told her friend to enjoy herself and keep her phone on and be safe because she will be heading home soon. Lillian hesitates about leaving, but Marigold urges her to have fun. Lillian finally agrees and they left for the bar.
