Waiting for You...

Seo Ha Rin is an ordinary high school girl with a life that feels like faded pages of a forgotten story. Every day she walks through the same halls, carries the same books, and hides behind the same quiet smiles. No one really sees her — except in her secret world, her diary, where she writes about the only thing that brings color to her life: him.

Choi Tae Mo.

The boy she waits for at the bus stop every morning.

The boy who never notices her.

The boy who will never know her feelings.

But life is not always as simple as a one-sided love.

In the middle of her soft routines, unexpected friendships, silent dreams, and unspoken heartbreak, someone else is quietly stepping into her world — someone who might slowly teach her what love really means.

As Ha Rin grows, stumbles, and learns to face her own heart, will she keep waiting for the one she can never have?

Or will she finally turn toward the one who’s been waiting for her all along?

Episode1: The Bus Stop Boy
“Sometimes, I feel like my life is just a forgotten story… Faded pages. Heavy words. For everyone else, I’m just a name. Just a face. But for myself? Maybe… nothing at all.” “They say there’s always light in the darkness. But my darkness is so deep, I have to trust my heart more than my eyes to find it.” (The pen pauses. A soft click. The diary closes slowly.) She places the diary near her pillow, like she’s just locked her entire world inside it — a secret no one else can ever touch. The night is quiet. The only sound is her breathing. Her eyes softly close, carrying a faint smile. Scene fades… The Next Morning The sunlight slips through the window, pulling her out of the comfort of her dreams. The alarm buzzes. Seo Ha Rin sits up quietly, without a smile, without a word. But her brown eyes still hold a hidden spark. She stands, brushing her long hair into a loose ponytail, slipping into her clean school uniform — neat, simple, just like her life. Her house is small, the kitchen filled with the faint smell of fried chicken from her family’s little shop. Her mother doesn’t turn to look at her. “Your lunch is on the table.” “I’ll eat at school,” Ha Rin replies, grabbing her bag and walking out like it’s just another empty morning. Her family? Distant. Busy. Forgetting her, maybe. Her brother Seo Min Hyuk? Still sleeping, still unaware, still living his own world. --------- The streets are quiet. Her steps are slow, steady — like life is moving, but she isn’t chasing anything. But her heart? It races when she sees him. There he is. The same boy. At the same bus stop. Every day. Choi Tae Mo. His headphones are on, his soft hair slightly messy, his uniform casually perfect, his face calm with a small, almost invisible smile. Ha Rin stands across the road. Between them, a city bus parks. She can’t see him directly, but the bus mirror catches his reflection perfectly. Her heart skips. She doesn’t move. She doesn’t speak. She just stands there, quietly watching him — like she always does. “He’s here. That’s enough.” His bus pulls up: Yongsan High School — one of Seoul’s top schools. Without seeing her, Tae Mo steps onto the bus. Gone. Again. Ha Rin smiles softly, almost to herself. ------------ Her own bus arrives. She climbs in, walking straight to Kim Ji Eun, her best friend. Ji Eun pulls her down onto the seat, grinning. “Why do you always stand there with that funny little smile, huh?” Ha Rin shakes her head. “Nothing.” Ji Eun pouts. “You’re always hiding something. I’ll find out one day.” But Ji Eun’s warm, playful energy pulls Ha Rin out of her lonely thoughts. With her, the world doesn’t feel so heavy. At School Hansol High School — simple walls, buzzing halls, busy footsteps. Their class president, Han Seo Yoon, greets Ha Rin with a soft smile. Their friendship is comfortable — not too close, not too far. Ha Rin enjoys the quiet moments with Seo Yoon’s group: Yoo Na Bi, sweet and thoughtful. Min Seok, calm and quietly supportive. Park Tae Hoon, playful and quick-witted. Yoon Joon Ho, always chill and smiling. ---------- During Maths Class the whispers start. “Did you see Mr. Park’s shirt today?” Joon Ho chuckles. “What’s wrong with it?” Na Bi leans closer. “The tag’s still on!” Tae Hoon bursts out laughing. Ha Rin glances at the back of Mr. Park’s shirt, trying hard not to laugh, but Ji Eun’s tiny elbow nudge nearly makes her lose control. Ha Rin genuinely laughs — a soft, real laugh that even surprises herself. -------- Maths class was over. Students closed their books, some laughing, quickly rushing out. Ha Rin stayed calmly in her seat. Ji Eun came over and grabbed her hand. “Come on, let’s go to the cafeteria. I’m so hungry!” Ha Rin picked up her bag with a soft smile. “You’re always hungry. You’re never serious about anything.” Ji Eun gently pulled Ha Rin’s hand. “Come on, hurry up! Everyone else is waiting for us for lunch!” Ha Rin looked at her, picking up her bag with a soft smile. “Okay, okay. Do you ever have patience?” Ji Eun held back her laugh and said, “Patience only makes you miss lunch. Let’s go!” ---------- As Ha Rin and Ji Eun walked into the cafeteria, the familiar sound of students, clinking trays, and the warm smell of food surrounded them. At their usual table, Seo Yoon and the others were already waiting. Yoo Na Bi waved her hand, “Finally! You two are always the last ones.” Min Seok said, “I’m starting to think you enjoy making us wait.” Ji Eun sat down quickly, “You’re lucky I’m starving. Otherwise, I would’ve taken even longer.” Ha Rin quietly placed her tray on the table, smiling softly at their usual bickering. Min Seok’s eyes, without meaning to, stayed fixed only on Ha Rin. He was listening to the conversations at the table, Ji Eun and Tae Hoon were laughing and joking, but Min Seok’s attention was stuck in just one place — Ha Rin’s soft little smile. Just then, Joon Ho’s voice reached his ears, “Seok, you wanted to say something, right? Come on, everyone’s here now.” Min Seok quickly looked down at his tray, a little nervous, “Yeah… well, I was saying… the exams are starting in two days.” Tae Hoon cut him off with a teasing tone, “Everyone knows that! Is that what you called us for?” Min Seok made a fake angry face, “Hey, let me finish first! I was saying… after the exams, let’s all go camping together. All of us.” Seo Yoon nodded, “Yes, it’s a good idea. We haven’t gone out together in a long time anyway.” Ji Eun’s eyes sparkled, “Wow, camping? I’m already excited!” Everyone started laughing. But for Min Seok, maybe this camping trip wasn’t just about hanging out with friends. Maybe this was his chance... to get a little closer to Ha Rin. Ha Rin quietly smiled, “Camping, it sounds good.”
