The night came to a close and Rose had to retire to her own bedroom to rest for the night. Right after she left, Xander called for Eric and the assistant returned to the room. Xander was preparing to sleep and had been reaching a small book which he put down on his lap.
Eric did not get the chance to say anything when Xander spoke as soon as he came in.
