"Um...sure" she answered without turning back. Immediately they were inside, Cynthia faced her, eyes blazing in fury. "Now look here bitch...." Ella flinched and backed towards the wall. "...If you think I'm going to let you take my man away from me all because his parents like you, trust me you are joking. Because I will so crush you like a bug that you are. Is that clear?" She nodded sharply, whimpering a little as Cynthia pushed her roughly. With trembling legs, she forced herself to move in front of the mirror. Her pale face stared at her from the mirror earning a shake of her head. "I'm scared. I don't think I can do this" she whispered, "Anything to get away from that house, I will try." Her phone rang shortly. "Hello" "Ella, I need money" Mary snapped on the line. "Mom, I don't have any money right now." "Liar. I know you have. Is it too much to give me money when I ask for it? After everything I have done for you? Taking you in? Raising you?" she screamed. "Okay, how much do you need" she asked weakly. "A hundred dollars, and I want it now. Unless you want me to sell your things and throw your stuff out of my house." "I'll send the money" "Be quick." She quickly logged into her bank app and moaned woefully at her bank balance, she was running low on funds, all the more reasons she should take this chance. She transferred the money and called her mom. "I've sent the money" "Good. That's what you should be doing. And don't call me mom." She hung up the phone. Ella leaned her head against the mirror, a headache was already blooming in her head. "Ella! Are you okay, you look a bit pale?" Simon noticed as she walked in, she smiled gratefully at him. "I'm fine sir. Just a little headache" Cynthia snorted loudly from where she sat on Cian's lap. "Is it okay if I leave now, I think I need to rest." Simon opened his mouth but Samantha answered instead. "You are not going anywhere, you can rest here, its your home. If anyone has to leave it should be unwanted guests." her tone was frosty and directed at an oblivious Cynthia, then she smiled at Ella, "Come on, let's have lunch" "Okay" "Cian get up, let's have lunch" she snapped at him. With a huff, he dragged Cynthia gently with him to the dinning room. Samantha placed Ella at his right while Cynthia positioned herself at his left. "Babe. Open up" She smiled triumphantly as she fed Cian smirking at the way Ella kept her head down and picked her food, the frosty glances Simon and Samantha directed at her did nothing to discourage her actions. "Mrs Samantha, I must say your food is delicious" "Thank you, it's not my cooking, you can thank the chef" Samantha answered with a deadpan voice. Cynthia nodded, "I'll be sure to do that. Mr Simon, love the suit, it suits you. Very dashing." Simon said nothing, two veins pulsed at his temple and he looked ready to burst. Cynthia laughed giddily, "This is so much fun, we are like one big family." Crack! That hit the limit, Simon stared impassively at his right hand that now clutched a broken cup. "I'll go wash my hands" "Is he going to be alright?" Ella asked, her face a mixture of worry and shock. Samantha waved her hands dismissively. "Don't worry sweetheart, its alright. Simon used to be a pro wrestler so these things don't matter." She nodded in understanding, "So that explains his muscular figure" she whispered to herself and continued eating. Cynthia pouted at being ignored and decided to pick at Ella. "Your name is Ella right?" "Yeah, um...Ella Parker" "What do you do?" "Um..I am...was a waitress" Cynthia burst into laughter, Cian regarded Ella in disdain. "A waitress, did you go to college?" She tried to answer but she was shut down. "I'm not even going to ask because its obvious, if you did go to college you would not be stuck having a job as low as a waitress." "Um..." she lowered her head. Samantha slammed table and rushed towards Cynthia in a flash delivering two slaps on each cheek. "Mom!" Cian yelled to his feet, shocked at his mother, she spared him no glance as her heated gaze was focused solely on Cynthia who was holding her cheeks in shock. "If you ever make fun of my daughter in law or call her names, I swear by everything holy, I will make sure you never get to walk freely on the face of the earth again. Ella, please I hope you are okay. Why are you crying?" She ran to Ella in concern. "Its nothing but...thank you." "Thank you? For what? I should be the one apologizing for all of this." "No, this is the first time someone is standing up for me and its the both of you at that. Thank you." She sobbed. "Oh honey" she was immediately pulled into a hug, gentle hands wove round her body and encassed her protectively with love. "Come on, lets go." Cian growled, helping Cynthia to her feet. "uh uh!" Simon stopped him as he came back from the kitchen. "You are staying here tonight" Cian shook his head, "I need to drop her home" "Don't worry, our driver will drop her. You are staying here and I'm not hearing otherwise." "Babe, you can't" Cynthia argued, her cheeks still red. He glared at the sobbing Ella with hate in his blue eyes. "It fine, Cy. Our driver will driver safely. Nothing will happen, you can trust me." She nodded reluctantly, "Alright. Give me a kiss." "Anything for you" They kissed sloppily for close to a minute then they disengaged and she left. Samantha freed Ella and gave her son an evil smirk, revenge shone in her eyes. "Young man, get ready, tomorrow...you are getting married." "What!" "What!" Ella and Cian both gasped.
