I couldn’t sleep, I was way to hyper. Finally after all these year I told Aroura she was my mate, from what I saw she didn’t seem too freaked out. I don’t know what she was going on about the Goddess talking to her in her dreams about an upcoming battle, she was probably still recovering from the mental trauma.
I laid on my bed, my sheets still held her scent, I tried to close my eyes and loose my self in her intoxicating scent.
I was walking in the forest but it was different, there was thick mist in it and there was no light. It looked like it was transparent, water was floating up to the sky instead of down. I came to Aroura and I’s pond, it was glowing a neon blue. I look out to the middle to see a woman like figure standing in the middle, with hair down to the water.
Come Alpha King
Said a voice that was over lapped with different voices, I felt a pull leading me to the woman. Little rocks emerged leading to the woman, I followed.
I got a closer look, she was beautiful covered in leaves and vines, she resembled Aroura quite a bit. Her skin was white like Aroura’s fox, same button nose, flawless skin, plump thick lips, and same exact eye color.
I looked at her I’m amazement
“Who are you?”
She smiled the same as Aroura with perfect pearly white teeth
I’m the Mother Goddess
I quickly knelt down infront of her
She chuckled and gently left me up to my feet
You don’t need to bow, you are the future Alpha King.
I looked at her confused
“What does that mean?”
It means you are going to be the most powerful creature, you will be loved by all hybrids and stop the tyrant who wishes to control all life. Including myself.
I stood dumbfounded, I must be dreaming
Smiled as if she heard my thoughts
You are not dreaming, you have been chosen by the Arctic Fox.
“Arctic Fox? You mean Aroura?”
Clearly she meant Aroura she’s the only fox in existence.
You must keep her safe till your bond is completed, for she is your only chance to win the upcoming battle and defeat the tyrant once and for all.
I still had no idea what she was saying
“What battle and what tyrant?”
Before I can say anything else my eyes flew open blinded my the sun, I shielded my eyes and jumped up.
I sat on my bed trying to make sense of my dream when a knock on the door pulled me out of my head
“Yea come in!”
It was Alex, one of the elders
“Sorry if I woke you but I have some troubling news. Your father won’t be able to make it to the ceremony tonight, the negotiations with Alpha Micheal are taking longer then expected. But not to worry we still can go forth with ceremony, we’ll just do the blood pack when he gets back.”
I nodded my head
“Is he alright?”
He shrugged
“Physically he said he was fine just mentally exhausted, Alpha Micheal is very set on you being mated with his daughter. He demands to know your supposed mates name, your father is trying to stall the best he can.”
I nodded
“Ok thank you elder.”
He nodded and left, soon after Carly barreled though my door.
“Knock much, what if I was n***d?”
She scoffed
“Dude we use to take tubs together as kids, it’s nothing I’ve never seen before. Did you talk to Aroura? Did you tell her?”
I tried not to smile
“Yea, I think she took it pretty well. I told her I’ve waited this long, I can wait a little while longer for her to process the idea.”
She squealed jumping up and down
“Yea, I’m so happy. You know she’s had a crush on you for the longest time. Finally I said it, she promised me not to say anything cause she though you were going to be mated with someone else and didn’t want to feel stupid and ruin your guys friendship. Oh my Goddess it’s like a Romeo and Juliet story minus the death and family fuse.”
I just laughed at her rambling
“How’s the preparations going for the party? Did you finish the surprise?”
She jumped up
“Yes and I picked up the dress, you picked most beautiful dress for her to wear, I’ll be heading over to her house shortly to help her get ready.”
I nodded
“Any news on Brian’s whereabouts?”
Her face quickly turned to anger
“No that fucker disappeared, I understand he couldn’t control it but it till angers me. He always made s****l jokes and advances on her without the hazes help.”
I felt anger flash across my body as well, I did hear the things he use to say to her and how he tried to touch her. Aroura always handled herself by either ignoring him or kicking his a*s.
I smiled
“Thanks Carly, I’m going to jump in the shower and get some last minute things in order.”
She nodded and left.
I turned on the shower, I ran scorching hot water. It felt so nice, I just kept repeating what the Goddess called me

After my shower I’ll have to hit the books and see what that means.
Aroura
I was sitting on the couch wasting some time before I had to get ready for Dom’s party, I was probably going to just wear the same dress I wore to his homecoming.
Rapid knocks came from the door, I got up and opened it.
It was Carly, she had a big white dress bag in her hand
“Surprise, I’m here to get you ready for tonight.”
Before I could say anything she dragged me upstairs to my room, she sat me down in my chair and started brushing my hair.
“What are you doing? I was just going to wear the new dress from the homecoming, why did you get me a new dress.”
I asked as she tugged at my hair
“Oh I didn’t buy it Dom did.”
I squinted as she tugged and pulled at my hair
“You know I’d like my hair on my head thank you.”
She chuckled
“I got it, little braids on the side coming into one big braid in the back with some loose curly strains on the side, YES! I’m a f*****g genius.”
She worked on my hair smiling
“So I heard you have a mate, you excited.”
I smiled
“I think it still hasn’t sunk in yet, it still feels unreal.”
She nodded
“Yea I bet it will seem real at midnight when it’s your 18th birthday, then you’ll feel the mates bond as well.”
Then I realized my birthday is tomorrow, if I am Dom’s true mate then we have to do the marking.
My cheeks turned beet red, the marking happens when the mates feel the bond while their making love. They mark each other my biting a special place on the body leaving their mark sealing the bond forever.
I heard it can be painful the marking and your first time
“Does it hurt?”
Carly stopped, she knew I was asking about more then the marking.
She rested a hand on my shoulder
“It will be nothing like what Brian did to you, sweetie. It’s not supposed to hurt if it’s done right, Dom will never ever hurt you.”
I tear rolled down my cheek
“I know”
I whispered
I dried my eyes so Carly could do my makeup, she went all out, fountain, mascara, eyebrow liner, eyeliner, eyeshadow and a deep burgundy lipstick.
She huffed
“Why do you have to be so beautiful you b***h?”
We giggled, now it was time for the dress.
She pulled out this elegant floor length, strapless dress. It was black with white gems forming vine looking lines, it had a slit going up the side to the hip exposing the leg.
Best part is, it was silk.
“Oh my Goddess, it’s breathtaking.”
Carly helped me put it on, she zipped the back for me, it fit like a glove.
I looked at myself in the mirror, it was beautiful.
I help Carly get ready, she wore a short red and black over the shoulder dress that had a big flower on the shoulder. I help her do her hair in a tight bun with flower clips, she did her makeup with red eye shadow and red lipstick.
We headed down stairs to see my parents were ready as well, dad wore a brown pinstriped suit and mom wore an off white long sleeve dress.
“Oh my Ted doesn’t she look beautiful?”
Mom tried to stop the tears before they ruined her makeup.
Dad looked at me in awe
“You could cover the chest area a bit more, but yes you look stunning.”
I smiled, typical dad.
We took pictures then got in the car, and heading to Dom’s house.

I put on my silk black button up dress shirt, rolled up the sleeves, then my black dress pant and tucked my shirt in. I did my belt and put on my black vest with white gems making vine like lines, I match the dress I got Aroura. I looked in the mirror and cleaned up my beard and did my hair, I slicked it to the side and back.
BUZZ BUZZ
I pulled out my phone hoping it was my father, I haven’t heard from him, hope he’s ok.
We’ll be there in a few we’re stuck in line everyone is here
It was Carly, I told her to let me know when their close.
I did a once over to make sure I looked good, it’s a big night not just for me being named Alpha but I’m going to announce that Aroura is my mate and Luna. I didn’t care if the pack liked it or not, for to long this pack as made her feel like she don’t belong but all that changes tonight. They’ll have no choice but to give her respect and then maybe they will see how amazing she really is, no one gave her a chance because she was a fox. Foxes were known as sneaky and untrustworthy, they were hired as assassins for a price but not all were like that.
I walked out of my room and headed for the hall, It was decorated with black and white balloons, streamers, and table cloths. I themed it to match my wolf and Aroura’s fox, black and white like yin and yang. People started flooding the hall, some taking their sits, some grabbing food and drinks, others going straight for the dance floor.
I walked around greeting everyone shaking hands, everyone congratulated me on becoming Alpha.
Then a scent of frost and sweet berries, I took a deep breath. I looked to the entrance and saw her, she looked like a queen, my queen. The dress was made for her, it fit her curves and showed off her perfect breast.
She took my breath away
She turned and locked eyes with me and smiled.
She mouthed the words Hi and waved.
I made my way through the crowd to her, we met in the middle of the dance floor
“You look.... I can’t even find the words.”
I said looking her up and down.
She shrugged
“You don’t think it’s to revealing?”
She said looked down to her breast, showing her exposed leg with sexy stilettos.
I felt my body heat up and the urge to take her up to my room, I cleared my throat.
“Um... No not at all.”
She smiled
She was perfect, I took her by the hand and lead her to the dance floor.
Taylor Swift Delicate came on, she put her arms around my neck causing the hair on it to stand up.
“Where’s your dad? I didn’t see him greet anyone on the way in.”
She said looking around
“He’s still sorting things out with Micheal.”
She nodded
“Is he telling him your mated with a fox? Or is he still convinced you’ll find someone else to be your mate?”
I shrugged
“I think he finally accepted the fact that your my mate, I told him if it comes to it I’d take you when you turn 18 and run away.”
She looked at me confused
“Dom your future Alpha, you can’t just up and leave your pack over someone like me.”
Hurt filled my face
“I don’t give a f**k about this pack, you are the only person who matters. It hurts that you think your not important to anyone, you are more important to me then becoming Alpha. I’d rather live the rest of my life as a rogue if it meant I’d have you by my side forever.”
She looked at me
“You really mean that?”
I nodded
“Aroura I....”
Before I could finish the elders spoke into the microphone
“Ok everyone please take your seats, the ceremony is about to begin.”
She looked at me and gave me a little kiss on the cheek, the spot she kissed burned making me want more
“Good luck, I’ll see you after.”
She turned to walk away but I grabbed her arm
“Where do you think your going?”
She looked at me confused
“To go sit with my parents in the back, were I always sit.”
I shook my head
“Not tonight, tonight you sit next to me.”
I held her hand and lead her to the table in the front that faced everyone.
I was set for The elders which there was 4 of them, the Beta, The Alpha and the Luna.
I pulled out a chair for her
“You will sit here from now on, right next to me.”
She sat down, she looked at all the people.
“What if they don’t accept me as your Luna.”
She whispered, I can hear the anxiety in her voice
“They will, when they get a chance to really get to know you, they’ll love you.”
I took her hand and kissed it.
She smiled.
