Chapter 15

AROURA

Dr. Mendoza told us she wants me to come in every Friday for an ultrasound and test to make sure the baby is doing good. She gave me a Mommy To Be book with everything I need to know about pregnancy and the first few years of infancy. She also gave Dom a Daddy To Be book that tells him what to except when your mate is pregnant and the changes she goes though and what he can do to help.

We go home, the staff had lunch ready for us. We sat at the table, I enjoyed my turkey sandwich while Dom already started reading his book.

His eyes light up as he was telling the things he’s learning

“It says here that the guy can gain weight as well and adapt similar symptoms of pregnancy, it call ‘Sympathy Pregnancy’ interesting. I guess we’ll both be moody bitches.”

He chuckled, I loved how involved he was but even looking at the ultrasound reality still hasn’t sunken in yet that I’m carrying a child.

Carly walked in the dinning room

“Jace needs you it’s important and FYI he’s pissed you haven’t responded to him at all.”

“f**k, I forgot all about that. I’ll see you for dinner, I love you.”

He kissed me and ran out, Carly sat were he was and started eating his chicken salad sandwich.

“Nice to see him not drunk anymore, he was a mess last night. How you feeling I heard about what’s going ok, you ok?”

I shrugged

“Well the Goddess had made it clear that this child will survive and will bring the dawn of the new age, we went to Dr. Mendoza and she believes I have a good chance of surviving cause I’m a fox and according to myths foxes are a direct bloodline to the Goddess herself.”

She just shook her head

“That’s not what I asked.”

I looked her dead in the eyes

“It doesn’t feel real, I feel like I can wake up at any moment and all of this was just one f****d up dream. Even seeing the ultrasound of the baby, it didn’t seem real.”

Carly shrugged

“Well it’s about to get real really soon, come on your going to need some new clothes. Your finally going to gain some weight skinny bitch.”

She finished the sandwich and got up, I shoved the rest of mine in my mouth and followed.

She hook her head

“Has anyone ever told you your going to choke one of these days? I swear you a wolf at heart.”

We laughed and get in the car to go shopping, we shopped discreetly. The only people who knew were my parents, The elders, Dr. Mendoza and Carly, we wanted to keep it that way. So we just got dresses that were one size bigger and stretchy, yoga pants, and tank tops.

We got back in the car and headed back to the house

“You know everyone’s going to find out eventually, your going to get fat and you can’t hid in the house for 5 months.”

She said grabbing the bags and bring them up to the house

I shrugged

“I don’t think the pack is ready just quite yet, Dom has to get them prepared for Shia and the witches first, as soon as that’s taken care of well tell them about this.”

I said lifting up the bags of clothes, we went up to the bedroom and hung them up. Carly had to leave to start training for some warriors they picked.

I was starting to get a bit tired, a little nap before Dom gets home and we have dinner. I lay down on the bed and drift off to sleep.

I’m walking in the woods, it’s different, it’s colder and darker. I come to the pond, nothing, the Goddess isn’t in her normal spot in the middle. I continued to walk around the woods, the air seemed heavy and cold. I turned around, I was now in the middle of town and it was on fire with black flames. I look down to see dead body’s everywhere, I saw Jace, Carly, the elders, mom and dad. I just looked in horror, they all looked like the life was sucked out of them and black ooze all over them.

Then a saw Dominic, I ran to his body. His body was hollow, the black ooze dripped out his nose eyes and ears.

Tears fell from my eyes

This is what’s to come if you don’t give us the child, everyone you know and love will die

It sound like 3 voices talking at once, I looked about to see where the voice was coming from.

I turned, I was face to face with Shia. She was half shifted, she had ooze coming out of her eyes and her shape teeth were black.

She was terrifying,

“You took my father from me, now I’ll take something from you.”

She growled lunging at me.

I jumped up covered in sweat and tears, hyperventilating. I looked around the room, no one was here.

“It was a dream, just a dream.”

As soon as I said that a faint chuckle echoed in my mind.

DOMINIC

Carly was right, when I saw Jace he damn near bit my head off. I apologized and filled him in on everything with Aroura.

His face was in shock

“Damn, if I’d known that’s what happened I would have just said never mind, I’m sorry man.”

I shook my head

“Don’t worry about it man, I could have handled it better. Everything is all good now, I’m going to be a dad!”

I couldn’t help but get excited, I’ve always wanted a family. When I was a kid I would draw a picture of Aroura and me with two kids, in a big house playing. When I turned 18 and knew for certain Aroura was my mate I kinda gave up on the idea of having kids.

Jace brought me to meet the rouge camps he took in, they were staying in the function hall.

Rouges are wolves who were either exiled from their pack or runaways, I almost ran away when my father told me I could never be with Aroura.

We had to be careful with the rouges, some of them were rouges for a reason. Jace took in 4 rouge camps, I met with the four leaders and filled them in on what’s going on. I offered them sanctuary until we get rid of Shia and the witches, they accepted and promised to keep their people in line.

Jace and I walked back to our cars,

“I want around the clock guards and updates every hour.”

I said to Jace

“Already taken care of, I got this go home and be with Aroura. Carly is training the new warriors and I’m getting guards set for shifts, go home and relax.”

I nodded and patted him on the back

“Thanks man, call me as soon as anything happens.”

He nodded and got in his car, I drove up to the house. I get in the house to see Aroura sitting on the couch my the fireplace reading her Mommy To Be book, she looked so beautiful. Her silver hair in a ponytail, wearing a baggy grey sweater that hung off one shoulder and white silk shorts.

“How did it go with the rouges?”

She asked without looking away from her book.

I sat down next to her putting her feet on my lap messaging them, she lightly moaned.

“Fine, they accepted sanctuary till we find Shia and get rid of her. Shouldn’t be long now before we’re ready to go search for them, Carly is training the new warriors.”

She nodded, she closed her book and looked at me. She was beyond perfect, she didn’t need makeup at all. Her skin was flawless, her lashes were dark and thick and her lips were big and plump. Not to mention she had a body to die for, she was perfect inside and out.

She smile

“What are you staring at, is there something on my face?”

She took her hand and wiped her face.

I smiled and leaned forward

“Yea me.”

I kissed her passionately placing my hands up her shirt playing with her breast, kissing her neck. She moaned turning me on even more, she wrapped her legs around me and pulled my closer. I pressed myself up against her gently rubbing through our clothes, I felt the urge. She undid my pants pulling them down, she pulled off her shorts.

She pulled me closer and kissed my neck, I teased her by circling the outside and placing it in a little then back out.

A little growl rumbled in her chest, she nibbled my ear and that was it, my weakness. I thrusted myself, she gasped and arched her back. I kissed her breast, I kept thrusting faster and faster. We were close, I can feel her tighten around me, one more deep thrust. I thrusted hard and deep and that was it, she squealed and bit my shoulder while we released at the same time. We just laid there breathing heavy, I rested my head on her chest listening to her heart beat fast. She played in my hair with one hand and traced light circles on my back giving me goosebumps.

Her breathing finally leveled

“You know, we’re going to have to tell the pack I’m pregnant. Their going to find out eventually, I’m going to gain a lot of weight and be very round.”

I nodded my head

“When we eliminate Shia and the witches, well make an announcement.”

Her breathing was steady

“I was thinking of some names today, one name really stood out to me. Alexander, it means Defender of the People.”

I looked up at her placing my chin on her chest and smiled

“I like that.”

She leans forward and kissed me

“We should get dress, dinner is going to be ready soon. And someone can walk in at any moment, I doubt people want to see us n***d on the couch.”

She said trying to get up

“I don’t care, it’s my house if I want to walk around n***d I can.”

I smiled I pulled her legs pull between me and kissed her breast, round two.
