As we arrive in the midnight pack. we are greeted by the alpha and his Luna. Standing next to her was a man that looked like her. LYNN POV:

we went out to eat with my mother's best friend. it was getting kind of late so we headed back to the pack. well little did we know that Shay had a whole plan to kill my mother and me. I stopped to say I needed to use the restroom. we stopped at a small little store on the outside of the pack. I told my mother I can go by myself. so she stood on the outside of the restroom. I got scared and turned around. as I about to open the door all the way to get my mother. I saw Shay pull out a sliver knife and stab my mother in the back 5 times. she looks to the restroom and I knew I needed to get out of here. she was going to kill me. I took my sweater off and put it in one of the restroom stall to distract her. it worked. because she went to where it was and knocked. I went under the rest of the stall and snuck out the restroom door. I took off running to the woods. I got away. it took two days for someone to find me. they take me to my father. When I got to my father I was scared and crying still. He looked at me with angry all over his face. I tired hugging him while crying but he slapped me so hard I hit the wall. Why i asked. My father looked at me and said you got her killed. She way trying to protect you from a rouge .she should of killed your herself. I looked at me in shocked Dad it was not a rouge. he slapped me again. you will not call me father no longer. it's alpha to you mutt. Shay walks in alpha do you need anything. he looked at her and was about to cry. thank you so trying to save you Luna you best friend. he hugs her and she looks me and the eye and smiles. I look at them shocked. father it was her who killed mother.she did it. My father looked at me and back slapped so hard I hit the wall it was black from there.

While she is telling me somewhat of the story I am filled with angry. I stand up and mindlink my beta. He is there within a few seconds knocking on the door. enter I say. She looks at me with the most scared look on her face. she started panicking. oh no she said I have to go. I'm sorry alpha she says as she leaves the room. with that I watch as my pretty mate runs out the door
