Deity Eyes

I wake up to a massive headache, my alarm going off, and my mom knocking on my room door. As I sit up in bed and turn off my alarm I say, "Yes Mom?" My mother quickly replies saying "May I come in" "Yes mom you can." I say rubbing my temples to relieve some pressure. My mom walks in looking serious but like she has a secret that she's concerned about. "I need to talk to you about something very important and I need you to listen before saying anything or judging okay sweetie" "Of course anything, is everything okay Momma?" I say looking concerened. My mom is my bestfriend (well besides my neighbor, Emily who I have know since I basically came out the womb)and we almost tell each other everything. "Everything is fine but I need to tell you this important information now before you find out on your own and freak out." I look at her confused but I let her continue. "When you are 17 your body will start changing in crazy ways, which may surprise you at first but everything will be okay.Your father...." "Mom you don't have to speak about him if you don't want to I understand the whole not knowing my father thing." I interrupt at the mention of my father. Apparently my father left before I was born and I was never supposed to happen. My mom's bestfriend which is Emily's mother helped her all throughout her pregnancy and they helped each other while me and Emily grew up. My mother was only 17 when I was born and she was already the perfect and best mother I could have ever asked for. "Your father wasn't just any guy, he was charming and he definitely had the looks but we would have never or even thought about dating each other. Your father was anything but normal. He was a deity. He was brave and strong and handsome and very intelligent. You remind me so much of your father but in a wonderful way. He was able to control water and he could heal his wounds with it.What I came to tell you was soon you may experience some of these affects around water, it will clear your mind and you will also be able to focus better hazel.When you do experience this please do not be scared, just talk to me no matter where you are and I will help you okay Sweetie." "Wow Mom that's a lot to take in but I understand that I shouldn't be afraid and honestly it sounds kinda awesome!" I say with a grin on my face letting out a small giggle. "Okay I'm so glad I have such a remarkable daughter like you in my life and I wouldn't want it any other way, now I'm going to let you get some more rest and let you think about the information I have just layed out for you." She says smiling at me before leaving. "Okay thank you mom I certainly have a lot to think about." I say smiling then I yawn. My mothers leaves and I start to think about the information My mother just told me. Is my Father really a God? Does that make me a.... goddess because I am the daughter of a God, and a fairly powerful one at that. I drift off to sleep thinking about the future and what will come.
