  Selene's POV   "You're calmer today."   Theo's voice came from behind her, easy and low, like he'd been watching her for a while and decided it was finally safe to speak.   Selene turned slowly. He was leaning against one of the stone pillars in the smaller side hall, arms loosely crossed, looking like he had all the time in the world. No urgency. No pressure. Just that calm, steady presence that always felt a little too comfortable.   She let out a small breath. "Is that your way of saying I looked like a mess before?"   Theo's mouth curved slightly, not quite a smile. "Earlier, you looked like someone carrying too much at once. Today you look like you put some of it down."
