I wanted to see Jake alone but mom and dad insisted on accompanying. I tried to sneak out of the house but I was caught in the process. Then I was grounded for two weeks, no phone, no internet, no TV, I was just so frustrated. Jake came to our house one evening and wanted to talk to me through my window but unfortunately for him, dad was in the garden and came closer.
"Young Man what are you doing here, because of you my daughter disobeyed me, I don't wanna see you here." he said yelling.
"but dad, what's wrong with the two of us talking together"I said
" Leave now!"dad said with an harsh tone to Jake.
Jake who was pissed off just went away. I texted him that I was gonna pay him a special visit one of these days but, he just replied with a smiling face emoji. The jail remained a jail until one day when mom went for shopping and dad was so busy working on his laptop. I got dressed up and sneak out, I went to Jake's School using the Google map to locate the address. Finally, I got there and got off the taxi, I felt awkward and embarrassed myself a lot because I wasn't used to going out, like I don't know how the taxi system work, since my parents always take me every where, any ways this time was better than the last time which I went to the concert which I totally humiliated myself because every thing was totally new. Finally I was there and found a girl who looks easy to get along with. I asked her of Jake and she told me he was at the field with his guys. I got to the field all excited to see him, he sat on a bench at one side of the field, he seems to be the one making the rule around here. His minions surrounded him, they were with their girls but what annoyed me the most was that there was a blond hair girl in front of Jake and the two of them were flirting with each other. He even had the gut to kiss that slime. One part of me tells me to confront him and make a scene while the other part of me tells me to go away, move on and forget about that jerk.
But I was too close to them, that was when one of his minion said
"hey, babe, are you a new student, my name is Greg"he said trying to flirt with me. That was when Jake looked up and saw me, "What you're here?"Jake said in shock.
"yes, your eyes are still working, tell me Jake, why do you lie to me when you obviously like someone else"I said.
"who is this,babe"the girl he was flirting with asked him but he ignored while, the other were just enjoying the whole scene.
"You can't blame me, you know, you and your family are weirdos, dating you is like dating your parents as well, you're actually a prisoner,you know, you can't go out, you can't have a friend, you can't do this you can't do that, I shouldn't even be with a baby like you, who still needs babysitting, I should be with a girl like her, totally fun and free girl"he said as that flirt of his who felt she was better than me came to lean on him, while his friends just made fun of me and my totally miserable life. Now my eye was filled with tears. But I refused to let it come out, I slapped him so hard that, he turned his filthy face to the other side.
"Ooohhhoooooo"his friends exclaimed making fun of the who situation.
"shut up"Jake said to his minions. then he turned to me and smirked "You will never find a guy like me, no guy can like a girl like you, not to talk of if he is as cool and popular as I am, so you will later come begging me, so that you can be one of my girlfriend collection just to pity you"Jake said. I gave him a disdainfully look and went away from there, as I turned my back at him, all those tears I have been struggling to keep, start running down like a water fall, and the most hurtful part was I could hear them make fun of me as I left. I snuck back to my room, locked my room, cover myself with my blanket from head to toe, and cried my eye out what hurt me the most is that I knew what he said was true, I could never have a guy that would like me, I am imprisoned in the name of being protected, I don't have a social life, there is nothing interesting about me. My whole world revolve around the four wall of my room. All Jake ever wanted was to hurt my feeling, just to date and dump me. I don't even wanna talk about him. I didn't go out of my room for two day, my parents were so worried, the third day, I got out of my room but was so weak because I had only been eating the snack and drinking the water in my room, I ate chocolate chip mostly, mom and dad were happy that I finally went out of my room, but I wasn't in the mood to be friendly to any one.
"Hon, I'm so glad you finally, came out, you got..."mom was saying as I cut in.
"I wanna quit home schooling"I said.
"What!!!?"Mom and dad chorused.
"Yes, you heard it right, my life has be ruined in the name of you wanting to protect me, so my decision stands"I said
"There is no such thing, the world out there is too dangerous my dear"dad said.
"But at my age, you were free to go to that world dad, it either you grant my wish or you will never see me again, you know that I know how to sneak out dad"I yelled.
Dad wanted to talk, but mom stopped him and they both went to talk in their room
