Hell from Liliana

Sorry, I forgot to tell you guys, earlier, as I was wandering about in the campus before I went to the basketball court, I accidentally bumped into a girl who was jogging, and I was the one who fell and could have gotten hurt, all she could say was "Watch your way, blindy"she said rudely and went away, whatever, I wasn't surprised when those guys called me a doll,Jenny and others who saw me said I looked like a Disney cartoon characters, and that I have delicate soft skin, whatever. I saw Derick come towards me and I wasn't sure whether he was gonna be upset that I am here or not. Finally he got to me but I spoke before he could say a word

"Am I disturbing you guys?"I asked.

"Nope, we're just practicing, casually, If the coach was here then he would feel that you're a distraction."Derick said.

"The game is over now, so I got to go"I said. I turned to leave and realized that I don't know my way back and I left my phone in the hostel, I turned to Derick who was already expecting it

"Actually, I don't know my way back and I forgot my phone in the hostel"I said

"I knew you were gonna say that, the campus has a complex architectural structure so it not easy to locate places well, I'll take you round"Derick offered.

"let's go" I said as I turned to leave, after I have walked for a while, I realized that Derick wasn't coming along, I turned back and saw him smiling so I moved closer to him.

"What?"I said demanding an explanation.

"Don't tell me you expect me to go without changing my sport cloth to my usual"he said and he saw the weird look on my face.

"Don't tell me you're gonna change here"I said.

"No genius, I was gonna change at the locker room"he said as I sat on one of the seat and waited for him. Not so long he returned wearing his usual black jacket and Jean trouser and had a back pack.

"let's go"he said as we went on the tour

"I didn't know that you are into basketball"I said.

"There are a lot of things you don't know about me, how was your highschool life, PROM and all?"he asked.

I didn't wanna answer that question but he was not gonna take his eyes off me, expecting an answer.

I rolled my eyes kinda annoyed at him,

"I home schooled then, had zero social life, not allowed to go my own attached school PROM, you can call me a loser if you want to, laugh at my miserable life and call me name if you wish, but you know what I don't care"I said kinda yelling for no reason. I saw Derick laughing, I got annoyed

"I knew you would laugh, guys like you are all the same, I can go on my own, and I will ask everyone on the campus if that is all what it means."I said as I turned to leave but he didn't stop laughing but pulled me back instead.

"You're so funny, spicy doll, I know your life was gonna be like that, I saw a video online, Bella, when you went to a concert, Jake was about to kiss you but your parents came to make a scene the video went viral and you wouldn't wanna hear the comments"Derick said.

"But,I ,I didn't know it went viral"I said out of the proper word to say.

"There is something I wanna show ya"Derick said as he pulled me to the an art gallery in the campus, then we he stopped at a painting.

"What do you see in this painting?" he asked.

"A man that wanted peace, but finally found his tiny space in the bottle, but his peace space was later broken"I said.

"What!! That's not what it means, it is a painting of a man who was restricted by so many rules, the bottle represents the rules which trapped him, he sat at the corner all to himself feeling miserable and left out, but this one over here shows that he broke free from all those rules that is why he broke the bottle from inside by his little might, he started from somewhere"he said and turned to me"you are like that man in the painting but it's left for you if you wanna break free" he said and turned to leave, I gave the painting one last look before I went with him. We walk for a while but none of us said a word because I was still thinking about the painting he showed me. Then I sat at a bench along the road, he sat beside me.

"Why did they restrict you?"he asked

"The most reasonable reason was because I had asthma and panic attack"I said.

"That's not a valid reason to stop you from living a normal life, you'll just know what to and not to do"he said.

"you're lucky, your life is perfect."I said

"My life is far from perfect, my mom died when I was thirteen, dad was never always there even when mom was alive, this made mom distant to me even though she was around then, after her death, I was mostly alone, dad would travel oversea for months sometimes two years so I decided to make myself happy"he said.

"I on one hand, am being overly protected by my parents while you on the other hand are alone, Friend? since we have opposite lives we can help each other out somehow"I said enthusiastically as I offered a hand shake. But he just gave me a awkward look then he shakes hand with me and when he saw the confusion on my face, like how would someone who gave you an awkward look just now shakes hand with you then he said "I love that confused look on your face, you look so cute with that look"he said as he laughs and squeezed my cheek. I never knew that Derick was gonna be a care free, cheerful, jovial and funny guy especially to a girl like me. we stood up and was about to leave when a girl came and jumped on Derick, she gave him kiss and hugged him. OMG, she seem to be the girl that bump into me the other time. Derick was happy to see her, there was no logical explanation other than the girl is his girlfriend.

I felt like I had to give the two some space, but as I was about to leave.

"Who is she?" the asked Derick giving me a rude look. I am sure that I secured girl taught I was stealing her boyfriend.

"Meet Bella my new friend, Bella meet Liliana" Derick said.

" Wait is that not the loser whose at Jakes concert? What ever. Derick I have a lot of things to tell you." Liliana said.

I ignored the rude girl and her boyfriend who were no longer aware of my presence and went on my own way, thank God we were almost at the hostel before that crazy girl came. But some thing else caught my attention, something hot that no one can resist, ice cream and cupcakes place, when ever I eat either of the two it always make my day. I went in and order some ice cream and cupcakes. I took my time and ate it to my satisfaction not letting any flavor go without being enjoyed. After finishing it, I headed back to the hostel, I opened the door and to my surprise my space was already taken, my bed was taken to one corner of the room, my stuff disorganized, and some of my cloth on the floor, then I saw Liliana on her bed at my space, typing away on her phone, the two other girls were not bothered. These girls have totally crossed the line, I went to Liliana took her phone and

"What the hell are to you doing here and what the hell have to you done to my bed."I said yelling.

she snatched her phone from me and said " This is my room, and my rules and wishes stands loser so go to where you belong, the corner" she said

The other girl s were now watching us, they were laughing at me and supporting their master all the way even making rude comments. I backed off because I know you can never win with these girls.

I went to my bed arranged my things and got ready to sleep.

I woke up a little late the next morning, do I hurried up, I wanted to use my mirror but that Liliana was already there. She was applying this applying that I went to meet her that I wanted to use the mirror but as expected she just ignored me. She seems to want to enter the mirror or sleep there since it took her century to finish using it. I was running late so I just went without using the mirror, the lecture was awesome and my day was good. I headed back to my room and saw one of the girls dirty cloth on my bed. It was so damn annoying, I took the cloth with the tip of my fingers and threw it on the floor. Liliana came in and was like "How dare you throw my cloth on the floor" she yelled.

"And how dare you put your dirty clothes on my bed"I yelled back.

"I will put it there and there is nothing you can do about it, my room,my rule"she responded.

"This room is not yours, Liliana,and you can't rules for other especially me." I said.

"Says who?" she charged back.before I can reply, the other girls came in and came to defend their master as expected. I couldn't help it but just went out, the second day and this much trouble.

I took a stroll and went to seat on the bench at the road side.

then a guy came to seat beside me, I have never seen him before.

"Had a rough day, huh?" he said

I look at my side and saw this cute guy.

"Excuse me, but do I know you?" I asked.

"No you don't but I know you, I saw you in that video, that of Jake concert and I saw you when you and Jake went on your date and your parents were like the third party and I also saw when your story with Jake ended."he replied.

"who are you." I asked.

"I am Richard and I went to the same high school with Jake and I am a minute nor character you may not have noticed then. You don't have luck with people you meet, now you are in the same room with the school's vipers." he said.

"To be honest it has been hell living with them in the same room, like who takes your space put your stuff at a corner and even put sweaty cloth on your bed, it is so damn annoying." I said already filled with annoyance.

"You never change, Bella, you are still that little girl who easily gets hurt." he said.

"what?"I said totally confused.

"it's me Richard Demetrius your childhood friend from the same neighborhood, I just travelled abroad when we were Still younger and now you can't remember me?" he said and I was so shocked.

"What you look totally different, like you were so chubby when we were younger but now you are, I can't believe this, your now a grown up and so much thinner. So when did you come back to the count, why didn't you be come back to our neighborhood?" I asked all at once.

"We moved to a new estate and as I said earlier I was admitted into the same school with Jake. We came back three years ago." he explained.

"Why didn't you find me and come pay me visits?"I asked.

"come on you know how your parents can be, I may not be allowed to see you since, I have been gone for so long and may bo a total stranger to them." he explained.

"Hey don't use that as ab excuse." I said using a commanding tone.

"ok general, am I forgiven?"he asked

jokingly.

"Only if you treat me out and catch up with things." I said in a commanding tone.

"As you wish,madam."he said as we went on our way to bring back old memories.

Richard was my only friend when we were kids. We were the only one around the same age range then. He always come to my tree house then and get a ticket to come to our place by bribing my mom with flowers which he had plucked from his mother flower pot. One thing has always been certain about him no matter how good or bad he may be, he is always cunning.

Finally Richard accompanied me to the hostel and I went in and ignored the girls presence, I jump on the bed and fell asleep after some few minutes. That day was kinda stressful. I was already dreaming about my favorite food and I was about to take a bite when something hit me hard on the head. I woke up and saw biscuits wrapper, candy wrappers and all other snack wrapper on my bed and what had hit me was thrown by Liliana it was soda bottle that she had drank the content, now I understand the meanies has turned my space to their waste dump. I was too sleepy to even try argue with them, it's not as if it changes anything any ways, I went back to sleep and lucky for me, they didn't throw things anymore.
