I'm not sure how we made it to Kieran's pack, but here I am, sitting in his office, feeling like dying. Everything hurts, but the worst pain is in my chest. I don't understand how Alexis could survive this, how she could live with this kind of pain for so long. I always thought she was strong, but now I see her differently. I now understand why she chose the easiest way out of this. It's exactly what she said. Going through hell. The pain is unbearable. And I don't think it will lessen over time. Our bond was severed forcefully.
She was finally mine. I know we were taking things slowly, but I should have marked her. That way, I may still have a connection with her, even though it would probably be weak, but still!
