Chapter 7

Him Minji's POV After the bell rang for 2 Pm, I quickly left the classroom, not caring to see who's around me. Once I got to the dorm room, I noticed how there was music blasting from the inside. So when I turned the knob and pushed open the door, I saw the boy on his phone, sitting on the couch while jamming to music. So I aprutly went in and slam the door close. "What do you think you're doing?" I ask, crossing my arms and standing right across from him. "Well what does it look like?" He asks back, smirking. I roll my eyes at him, "you're such a child." I ignore his music and just head into mine. "Thank you!" I hear him sarcastically say as I close the door to my room. Once I got in, I groan and lay my body on the bed, texting the girls that I'm at the dorm with the jerk. But then I realise something: they don't get out till 4 - in two hours!? I groan more and cover my face with my pillow, wondering what to do. My head suddenly pops up, "why is it so quiet?" I go to my door, and quietly open it, trying to hear any noise. When I heard nothing but silence, I open the door wider and walk out, heading into the kitchen. "What should I make?" I furrow my eyebrows and look inside the cabinets and fridge for any ideas on what to make. "They don't have enough ingredients." A sudden idea pops into my mind. Since before I came here, my dad gave everyone at least fifty dollars (A/N: I don't know how much that is in ₩) so with that money I'm going to go out and buy food. When I was putting on my shoes, Mingyu finally speaks up from the living room, "where are you going?" I sigh and look at him, "to buy groceries." I heard nothing, so I head out and lock the door behind me with the key that was given to me before we left for school. I look shy, I know that, but that doesn't mean I have to act like one. I look like this for a reason. I dress like this for a reason. And I don't think I'll ever change. At least not right now. Ω¤Ω When I finally arrive at the convenience store, the first item I look for is chicken - Teriyaki chicken to be exact. I got like three boxes, three boxes of sesame chicken along with its own sauce and spices, and some Korean Beef. After I got those items, I went and look for ice cream. I got one with cookies 'n creme, vanilla, Rocky Road (A/N: The base is choclate with a mix if marshmallows and almonds), and Cherry. Then I went into the drinks section, buying Sprite, Coca Cola, Pepsi, and a Japanese drink that tastes like grape soda. I even brought snacks. I then brought Lettuce, different kinds of Cheese, different kinds of Ham, Eggs, different kinds of Noodles, different spices and sauces, different cereals, Cat Fish, and three boxes of homade pizza. "That would be $85," my eyes just go wide. "$85?" I look at my wallet to only see a 50 dollar bill. "Thank you!" I look to see Mingyu already with some of the bags in hand. "What? Aren't you gonna help?" He rolls his eyes and walks away, leaving me there. It takes me some time to process what just happened. So I grab the rest of the bags and bow to the clerk, following right behind the giant. "Why did you pay?" I ask him, walking right beside him. "Because I'm hungry and you were taking so long," he simply replies, with hate in his tone. In that moment, I felt like apologizing, but there was a part of me that didn't want to- am I too rude? YeonA's POV Archery went by so quick- the only person I somewhat "know" in that class is the one I have for Dance, which is Shownu. Suddenly after class, I see him running up to me, "hey." He caught my attention so I turn my head to him and hum in response. "You were good down there," he flashes a small smile and walks away. By "down there" he means the hill. There's a down-hill near the school where you can only practice Archery. "Thanks," I say to his retreating back. I went inside the archery classroom to grab my stuff, then heading out into the parking lot, meeting Lucy. "How'd it go?" She asks as soon as she sees me. I just shrug my shoulder in response, "school's okay." "I'm not talking about that," I look at her to see her rolling her eyes. "What do you mean?" "I'm talking about that Wonho guy- I saw that he was one of the ones who stayed behind in Dance class," she starts smirking in weird ways. I laugh at her and walk ahead of her. "No but really," she catches up to me, walking side by side, "how is he?" I then suddenly think back to where my hand was touching his soft ones, feeling the chills run down my spine just like before. "He's ok," I lied. "Mhm," she sarcastically hum, "I sure believe you!" As we got to the dorm, we notice a couple just a few feet from us. "Isn't that Minji?" Lucy asks and hides behind a brown small repleca of a pine tree. "Oh my god," I roll my eyes at her and just walk ahead of her. "Hey! Don't leave me!" She yells and runs up to my side. We then start to notice that it was indeed Minji, "but why is that Mingyu guy with her?" We both look at each other before running to the elevators to where the "couple" - anyone to have a relationship with him must be disgusting - were currently at. "YeonA? Lucy? Did you just come from school?" Lucy and I nod our heads. "Well you're in luck," I turn my head to see them holding grocery bags. "What are you planning to make?" Lucy asks and presses the button to go to our designated floor. Minji just shrugs, "whatever comes to mind." "Then why was he," I look at him disgustingly, "with you?" I ask. She shrugs, in which he doesn't care to answer. Ω¤Ω When we finally arrive in the dorm room, Minji and Mingyu places all the grocery bags on the table. "You know what?" We all turn to see Minji looking at a box of Hommade Sesame Chicken, "I think I'm gonna make sesame chicken." She smiles and disappears into her hallway, "she's so cute!" Lucy commented, "cute as in a baby?" She nods her head. "Ew, that just makes you look like a lesbo," my eyes then darted to him. "Look, Kim Mingyu, we don't need someone as low as you to come in here and start criticising us, okay? Because I swear to god," I start taking slow steps towards him, "I will cut off your d**k and place it somewhere where the sun doesn't shine." He looks hesitant for a split second. "And trust me when I say this: I won't think twice in hesitating because I will f*****g do it every time you cross the f*****g line," I glare at him for the last time before heading into my room. "Why are boys so complicated?" I ask myself, covering my face with my pillow. My body suddenly tenses as my phone starts ringing. "Hello?" "YeonA, where are you right now?" It was Lay. "I'm at my dorm, why?" "I tried to call Lucy, but she isn't answering me. And I need you to do me a favor." "What is it?" "I need you to bring her to the MAMA's after party-" "You know that she'll refuse right?" I don't hear a response so I continue, "Lay she won't want to go, not unless we give her something in return." "Yeah I know," he sighs and continues, "it's just that I want things between her and Kai to resolve, but she's not on the same page as him." "And never will be," I tell him. "You just have to give her some time," I smile- in which I obviously found myself being dumbfounded as he can't see me. "I know, but just try to bring her. You already know the address-" "When is it?" "Tomorrow at 8 P.M." "Alright then, I'll try." "Alright thanks! Bye." "Bye." And with that I hang up the phone, throwing it somewhere across my bed, not caring if it falls off. "What am I gonna do?" Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. "Who could it be?" I ask myself and stand up, making my way out the door and into the hallway. "Hello- who are you?" I can faintly hear that familiar voice. As I grew closer to the living room, I notice a familiar brown hair man standing in the door way. "I live here, and why are you here?" Mr. Jerk answers, and asks back as he opens the door wider. "I'm here because I need to talk to Lucy? In which I can see that I got the wrong dorm." "Kai?" I speak up, getting the attention of both men, "what are you doing here?" I ask him, gesturing for Mr. Jerk to leave the kitchen. In which he did, but he sat down on the table- literally. "Look, YeonA, I know that Lucy wants nothing to do with me, but I really have to talk to her," he please. I sigh and cross my arms, staring deep into his eyes. "Kai, she had made it clear that she wants nothing to do with you. Not after what you did, now you have to leave before she sees you," I was about to close the door on him when he stops it ny placing his right hand on the door, slamming it back open. This alarmed both Minji and Mr. Jerk as they both came my way. "Kai, you have no business here. It's best for all of us if you go," I demand, but he still resists. "No. I will not go unless I talk to her," he snaps at me. Mr. Jerk, well in this situation Mingyu, gently pulls me behind him, standing right in front of Kai. "If she says leave, then you f*****g leave. Because I'm positive that SM Entertainment wouldn't want to see their precious idol acting like a f*****g d**k. So follow her orders and leave before I use force. And trust me, you don't want me to use force," he warns. Kai was taken aback, but he still stand his ground. "And who are you to tell me what to do? Because last time I checked, boys aren't allowed in a girl's dorm, unless you of course think they're an easy target-" Mingyu doesn't let him finish as he forcefully pushes Kai out the door, slamming it in his face. "Don't think that this changes anything," he turns and eyes Minji and I, "but if he ever contacts you again, you better let me know." That was the last thing he says before leaving the kitchen and going inside his room. Minji eyes me, in which I eye her. "Did he just stand up for us?" I mouth to her, earning a nod. The door then swings open, we both thought it'd be Mr. Jerk, but instead Lucy's face appears in the living room. "Why was he here?" She asks. "He came to talk to you, but Mingyu told him off," Minji answers, still not believing her own words. "Wait... as in Mingyu? Mr. Jerk told off Kai? EXO's main dancer Kai?" We both nod our heads. "I need to thank him," she says, which catches us both off guard. "Why do you need to thank him?" I ask her. She shrugs her shoulder, "I mean I did love Kai, at some point, and I just want to show him that what he did was wrong. And loosing me was the worse, but I just don't know how." "I think I may be able to help you with that," I tell her. She tilts her head and Minji crosses both her arms, eyeing me as she doesn't know a clue of their current status - or of what used to be.
