Smart-Asses YeonA's POV "And what exactly is that?" Lucy asks me, following Minji's actions. "Lay invited us to the MAMA's after party, in which we'll attend. But you will be attending with a date." Her face shows full hesitation. "Lucy, this is the perfect time to get back at him. To show him that you don't need him!" I remind her. "And how will I get a date?" She asks me. "Do you remember that guy from Dance class? I believe his name is Junhoe or JuNe," I inform. "Him? You want me to go to the party with him?" She asks curiously, with a small smile appearing but later being replace by a hesitation face again. "But how will I ask him? I don't know him? I don't know any of his friends!" "Wait, isn't Mingyu from a group as well? SEVENTEEN I believe," Minji informs, I'm surprise at how fast she's catching up. "He is?" I question. "He's the answer, you get on his good side, you ask him for Junhoe or JuNe or whatever his name is, then boom! He's your date and you succeed on making Kai jealous!" "You know, I really like you," Lucy ruffles Minji's hair, smiling at her, shrugging her shoulders. "When's the party?" She asks me. "It's tomorrow at eight," I inform her. "Tomorrow?! How am I suppose to get on his good side by then? Don't I have to ask JuNe tomorrow?!" She frantically walks around the living room and kitchen. "Hey!" Mr. Jerk slams the wall with his hand, getting all our attention. "Why are you screaming? You sound like lunatics," he comments. "I need a favor from you," Lucy just pretends as if she wasn't a lunatic herself just now and just goes straight to the point. "I'm not gonna do any favors from either of you," he walks back into the hallway. "You're from SEVENTEEN right?" She quickls yells out, making him stop in his tracks, "so what?" He questions. She sighs before saying it. "I need you to talk to someone for me, someone who's name is JuNe-" "I'm not talking to anyone who isn't part of my own group," he slams the door behind him, making the walls flinch at the sudden commotion. We eye each other, "so then what?" "I guess the best thing is for you to go and talk to him yourself," Minji announces, sighing as she sets her body down on the couch. "Yeah, I guess so," Lucy, with a disappointed face, makes her way to her hallway, slowly closing the door. I walk into the kitchen, about to make myself a cappuccino when I hear another door being open them close. I check to see that Minji is no where to be found. Since those two are out of hearing, I slowly make my way to Mr. Jerk's door, knocking. "Mingyu, I need to talk to you." That was enough for him to open the door, still keeping his glare on me from before. "What is it?" He towers over me, but then steps aside as he let's me in. I hesitantly walk through the navy blue door, standing at the corner, waiting to be demanded to talk. "So?" He sits at the edge of his bed, playing with his phone. "I want to thank you, for what you did. I know I could've handled Kai-" "But you didn't." He interrupts me. I know he's right, but I won't loose my ground in showing it, especially not to him. "I could've, but either way thank you. And that isn't the only thing I came here for," I tell him. "Look, YeonA," he places the phone behind him, now looking up at me, "I appreciate you coming here and thanking me, but whatever you're gonna say next, I suggest you save it. It isn't worth your time." "No, it may mot be - but it is. You see, Kai and Lucy have a history together," I sit on his one-sie couch, "it lasted for two years. But it ended from his stupid mistake." He wasn't getting the memo. "What she wants to do is show him that what he did was f****d up, and in order to do that, she wants to show off someone she'll know is better than him in some ways." "Look, I can help her, but at a certain limit," he says, still not removing his eyes from mine. "What may that be?" I cross my arms over my chest. "No one can know that I live here, no one else but us four." He demands. I nod my head without hesitation, "no problem." "All she has to do is talk to him, then I'll handle the rest." I nod again, and stand up, heading for the door. I was about to leave when his deep voice stope me from doing so. "Oh and YeonA?" I turn my head to face his, "yeah?" He doesn't look my way, "I meant it of what I said earlier," he's talking about Kai, "if he ever contacts you, you let me know." I put on a small smile, and leave his room, walking over to mine - which is in the next room. I close it behind me and drop my body on the bed, groaning as the impact wasn't what I was expecting. I had dropped my body on my phone, that painfully struck my rib cage. "Ouch!" I groan again and roll over, away from the killing device. Ω¤Ω Morning came and I was up and ready to go. With a black loose long sleeve, maroon high waisted skirt, black leggings and my ankle boots. I grab my stuff and walk out and walk into the kitchen to make myself a double mocha cappuccino. No one says anything about my outfit, in which brings joy to my ears. "Alright, so today our classes will be different," Lucy says so dramatically as she fans herself with just her hands. "Oh stop exaggerating, it's just two days out of the week," I inform her. "Yeah I know but still. I mean you never know who can be lurking in the shadows," she makes her voice sound like an actress from a movie that's taking place at the forest or woods. I laugh at her and throw a small marshmallow at her, "you're so dramatic!" She catches it and eats it, smiling at me happily. "Well someone's in a good mood," Minji appears on the table, reading something from her phone. "Do I seem happy?" Lucy questions us both, in which we frantically nod our heads, "more than ever!" Now it was my turn to be thrown a marshmallow by no other than Lucy. "Now you're being dramatic," she points out and picks up a green apple, biting into it as she looks at the time. "We should be leaving by now ladies!" She informs us. "Alright mom relax," I say in full English, not a single mistake. She eyes me, "what did you say?" She asks in Korean. "Nothing," I shake my head and smirk, leaving the dorm first. I leave the complex and walk down the sidewalk until my feet take me to my Language Arts' classroom. Professor Park was already setting up the board, making sure that everything is fine. "Morning," she shows me a bright smile before quickly turning back to her computer. "Since I'll only be having six today, I'm going to need you all to sit on the first row." I sat on the second to the last on the right side facing the board. So there were two empty seats, both on either side of me. Now a man, a button up ripped-like shirt that shows his biceps walk in, taking the empty seat to my left. "Now all we need is to wait for the last one- ah here he is!" My head slowly turns to the entrance, surprise to see the man from yesterday. "Shin Hoseok, also known as Wonho." Professor Park smiles as the man bows her way. He takes the seat next to me - and it is right now when I hear an explosion being made inside my heart. He was wearing tight leather black pants that make his thighs appear twice as big when he sits down. He's wearing a maroon, red, and black themed checkered shirt that's only buttoned up halfway, exposing his hard chest. "How is it possible that someone can look as strong as that?" I hear a boy ask his friend, earning a shrug by the shoulder. "Okay! When I said yesterday that you guys are the least skilled, it's actually the opposite." The boy who first spoke before raises up his hand, "so you're saying we're the most intelligent when it comes to this?" The professor nods her head, "Exactly what I'm trying to say. On your final scores of your last year's tests, you guys got the highest out of your grade level." She picks up a remote and turns on the projector, revealing to us a set of test scores. "These are the standard percentages of what most people got in your grade level along with the percentages of what one needs to get in order to be considered as recommended." "For freshman, since there's no Pre-Ap or AP, it's eighty-five percent. So congratulations, Wooyoung and Hwanwoong! Both got a ninety percent." "For sophmores, Pre-AP is ninety percent and AP is ninety-five percent. Since you were a Pre-AP student, Ravn, you got a percent of ninety-four, and you, Yeosang, you got a ninety-seven percent." "Now the last two. For the upperclassmen, the tests are more complicated because they want to challenge their students to push more and give their all. For Pre-AP, the percentage is still ninety percent, same goes for AP as being ninety-five." "YeonA," she turns to me, "you have had the highest score any Junior ever had! Since AP tests are way more complicated, all you needed was a ninety-five to get recommended. And you got a ninety-nine percent!" I smile so widely, not knowing what to do. "Ommo, really?" I cover my mouth, not wanting to let out my loud gasp. "I just missed one question?" She nods her head, now gaining the attention of the rest. "So out of two hundred questions, I only missed one?" She nods her head again. "You're the only female who made it in the top, the next one was Tzuyu, who didn't even finish the last two questions. Because when they checked hers, all of them were correct - but since she didn't finish her test, she didn't make it." "And now for the senior," she turns to the white haired man right besides me. "For Pre-AP, it's ninety-five percent, and AP is ninety-eight. But can you guess what he got?" We all shake our heads, including him. "He got a hundred percent," she says and that was enough to get his smile to widen. "Oh my god, I got a hundred percent?" The professor pulls up a profile, showing us all his test scores of all course subjects. "There will be a ceremony next week on Friday to congratulate the school's top students. And I believe you're number one due to how high you scored." I scan his scores and couldn't help but get surprise by how intelligent he is. "AP Language Arts: 100%. AP Korean History: 100%. Pre-AP Calculus: 99%. AP Physics: 100%. Sports and Athletics: An 100% score athlete. Dance: Expert with an 100% score. Criminal Justice: 100%. Law Enforcement: 100%. Law I, II, and III: 100% on all." How did he manage with these as his schedule?...
