Chapter 3

Male!? Roomate!?

YeonA's POV

"Did you just- did you just slap him?" Chanyeol asked, with the biggest smile I've ever seen. "Drugs? Really?" She started out with a low voice before becoming louder, "do you think that I'd be stupid enough to get involved with your drugs!?"  "I didn't think that you were stupid, I just didn't want you to find out that I was now into drugs!" He yelled back. 

"And why not!? Huh!? Why didn't you want me to find out!?" She yelled at him, banging the wall. "Because you always get so worked up if you find out that I'm doing something I'm not suppose to-!"

"BECAUSE YOU s**t HEAD THAT IS SOMETHING UNFORGIVING! Drugs aren't something to play with," Lucy was heading for the door when she stopped and turned around, "and to think that I loved you."

"Lucy?" I called out to her, going into her dorm room, "how are you?" She ignored me and turned the other way, "I want to he alone." "Oh, okay," I close her door and left the hallway, heading into my room on the other hallway. "Tomorrow's my first day of my junior year," opened my closet door and brought out an outfit. 

A purple off-the-shoulder plain long sleeved, high-waisted dark skinny jeans. I put both on my purple and black onesie, placing my black high-heel boots right in front of it, "perfect." I went to my restroom and took a quick shower before heading to my bed and sleeping.

Today was the day that we'll be getting new roommates, two of them, our schedules, school calendars (which sound some-what immature), and "apparently" new good-looking classmates.

I woke up and the sun's rays hitting my face. I groaned and sat up, stretching my arms above my head. There was a knock on my door as I was standing up, "yeah?"

"YeonA, our new roomates will be here in an hour, there was a mail by the door," Lucy said as she came in.

"Really? Do you know anything about them?" She shakes her head, "not even if we'll have one or two." I nod my head and went straight to the bathroom to wash up.

"I'm going to be waiting in the kitchen!" She yelled and left my room, closing the door behind her.

I checked myself in the mirror: small waist, small front. Whenever I'm wearing a tight dress, Lucy's always saying how my butt always appears half its size. After brushing my teeth, my brush my long black hair, placing my bangs to my right.

"Damn it! I forgot my clothes," I quickly ran out the restroom and ran into my room, locking the door behind me. "Phew," I then changed into my clothes.

I left my room with only my phone. "They should be here any minute," Lucy informs as soon as I sit down on the round table.

Ah! Before I forget, this is how our dorm looks like: as soon as you walk in, the kitchen is on the right, and the dining room us on the left. Behind them both is the living room. On both sides of the living imare two hallways, the right one is where Lucy's room is located while the left hallway is where mine is located.

Each hallway has two bedrooms, in total of four roommates. The left hallway is the only one that has a restroom while the left one has empty space with no door.

The Kitchen:

The cabinets are made of a repleca of dark wood, with the handles made of white metal. The upper part of the walls are beige while the lower half are tiles of white and black, along with the floor.

The Dinning Room:

The round table is big enough to fit five people, but only with four chairs. The color matches the cabinets and counters from the kitchen, along with the table. There's a small chandelier right above the center of the table.

The Living Room :

There's two couches touching the walls the divide the living room from the bedrooms. The walls are a crimson red, including from the dinning room. The couches are dark leather that fits three people each. There's an apple tv on the wall near the door to the balcony where it over looks the other dorms. There's a carpet in the center with a long coffee table.

The Restroom:

As soon as you walk in, there's already a shower-tub on the far right. With the walls a moroon shade. The shower curtains are a mix of water colors between maroon, blue white, and black. A toilet is located right beside the shower, facing the wall opposite from where I'm standing.

The counters and the sink is what you immidetialy see once you walk into the restroom. There's two counters, but a huge bowl-shape sink in the center with designs encrypted on both sides within the sink.

There's a huge mirror overlapping the counters. The floor is a repleca of marble with water colors of blue and green. There's other stuff around like extra towels, perfumes, hair accessories, etc.

The Extra Room:

When you walk in, you are met with half of the room where there's two book shelves, a desk made for studying, a computer, two small plants, three large laps on all three corners and a carpet with extra space. The walls match the living room.

Lucy's Room:

Since her's is at the end of the hallway, when you open her door, there's a window on the left side with a red and pink water-like colors. Her full-size bed has a sheet of maroon, a pink and red blanket, and maroon pillows. Her closet is on the far-right side, with her red dresser right beside it. In front of her bed is a book shelf.

My Room:

Since my door is on the left side, as soon as you open it, there's a window on the right with purple and black stripped curtains. My bed is on the side of it, meaning that whenever you're laying down and looking up at he ceiling, the window's on the left and the door is on your one and half quarter (clockwise).

The pillows have a floral design with purple and pink flowers, and black as the base. The blanket matches it, but the bed sheets are plain black. To the right of the bed, facing it, is a night stand where I keep my phone and charger, and on the other side of the bed is where I have my purple dresser.

There's a huge rug right in front of the dresser, with half of it hiding beneath my onesie that's in the corner of the room (right beside the dresser). Right next to the onesie is where my closet is located. The walls are black with the edges purple, along with my floor.

There was a knock on the door so both Lucy and I stood up alarmed, "are they here?" I asked her and head towards the door. I took a deep breath before opening the door, puting on a big smile.

"Hi, are you Kim YeonA? Or Zhang Yumcy?" A girl, big glasses, blue braces, two braids that run down the sides of her small head, stood right in front of me.

"I'm YeonA, please come in," I opened the door wider for her to come in. She struggled to bring in her suitcase as she was strongly holding onto three lecture books.

"This is Zhang Yumcy," I greeted Lucy, "but you can call me Lucy," she corrected me. "And you are...?" After the girl had put her books down on the table, she bowed deeply.

"Hi, my name is Shun Minjay, but you can call me Minji, and I am your new roomate," she smiled, showing her dimples. "Ah, well Minji, let me show you to your room," Lucy bowed her head before gesturing Minji to follow her.

I then somehow get interrupted by her outfit- white t-shirt, blue suspenders, high waisted denim shorts, and royal blue converse. She's only shorter than me by an inch or two, meaning that she's Lucy's height.

I went back to my phone that's currently on the table when I got an update from our head principal:

Dear students,

This is your head principal sending a message out to my students on an upcoming problem. There is a male student by the name of Kim Mingyu who has currently unavailable-stay at the male's dorm and therefore will have to share with a females' dorm.

So for any female students that receive this new male roommate, don't hesitate to welcome him as your new roomate. The council and I will work out a solution for this young male.

"What are you reading?" I look up to see Lucy closing her laptop, and texting something on her phone. "Nothing important," I told her and smiled.

"Where's the restroom?" We both turn our heads to see Minji standing in the center of the living room. "Second door," I pointed to where it is and smiled, turning my attention back at my phone.

"Thanks," she said and left. "Wait, isn't it the first one?" I look at Lucy until realisation hit me, "oh shit."

We both quickly run to her but we suddenly stop in our tracks as we see Minji's ocean blue eyes start to widen. "What?" Lucy asked as we got closer. But once we did, our eyes as well became bigger.

"You girls never looked in here?" We both shake our heads, "because it wasn't our room to begin with," I said.

"This room," I start, "is for," Lucy continues, "a male roomate!?" Minji yells excitedly.

Then as if on cue, there was a knock at the front door. We all looked at each other before Lucy asked, "could if be...?"

We ran to the front, just staring at it while the person on the other side kept on knocking. "What are you waiting for?" Minji asked with her cute voice, "answer it." Then Lucy pushed me to the door where I opened it without even realising it.

And then, there he stood. Tall, muscular, sharp jawline, sharp darks eyes, blue leather jacket, black skinny jeans, black slacks, and black quiff-parted hair. "You must be Kim YeonA? Zhang Yumcy? Or Shun Minjay? Which one of the idiots are you?"

"Ah, you must be Kim Mingyu, or should I say Kim Jerk?" He rolled his eyes and invited himself in, "I'm guessing you're YeonA by your attitude."

He smirked and and threw himself on the couch, playing with the hem of his shirt. "Hi, I am Shun Minjay, but you can call me Minji-"

"Yeah yeah- hey YeonA, can you go and bring me a glass of beer? I'm thirsty," he interrupted Minji. "Ok look, Mingyu guy, we're gonna set some rules first," I sat on the opposite couch from him, the one near the tv.

The others followed right after. "Rule number one, there is no drinking in this dorm, that's including smoking as well.

Rule number two, you can't invite any friends unless we all agree.

Rule number three, you can't treat us like how you did right now or you're out.

Rule number four, if we don't get into your business, then I suggest you do the same- that includes knocking on our doors for general reasons.

And Rule number five, we all have to be here before eleven, no excuses."

"Alright then- where's my room?" He suddenly stood up, "the hallway behind you, second door-" that Mingyu guy didn't let Lucy finish as he just aprubtly got his silver suitcase and left.

"This is going to be a long year for us," Lucy comments and sits back down. "Oh and one more thing," both heads turn to me, "we're gonna need a signal for emergency just in case."

"Not here," Lucy stood up and gestured for us to follow her. So we did and we went into her room. "For the first one, since we're women living with a male, we're gonna need some privacy, and that's including our children."

Minji just stares at me like I was crazy or something, "she means our periods." Minji nods her head and gestures for me to continue. "We're gonna need some kind of signal- like Red or Blue," I state.

"Blue, because if we say red, it'd be too obvious and it'll give it out easily," Lucy explained. "True," Minji comments.

"Blue it is- I somehow don't trust him," I blurt out. "We don't either," Lucy replies for both- her and Minji. "Just in case, if we ever find ourselves alone with him and he starts acting weird around us, just either yell out Red or text us."

They both nod their heads, "which also means that we'll need a group chat for that." I took out my phone and placed it in the center of Lucy's bed, along with her's and Minji's.

"Alright so here's my number," after I gave Minji he's, she texted something random so that I can put in a group chat.

"'YeonA of the Dawn'? Where'd you get that from?" Minji asked, getting comfortable on the bed. "I watched an anime a couple of weeks ago," I told her.

"You watch anime?" I simply just shrug, "just once or twice. But I'm thinking of getting into it." I smiled and got off.

"School is about to start and we're not even completely ready," I state and left the room.

"Junior year, here I come..."

This chapter has already reached more than 2,400 words (just like the one from before).

I don't know if I had already mentioned this, but Imma say it just in case: yes! This book will have more than fifty chapters.

I don't like reading books that have less than forty chapters, I prefer those with like "HUGE" plots.

Because I mean yes the whole point of one book is for the "soon-to-be-couples", but mine have to have problems, love triangles, etc.

And yes, my chapters have to be more than 1,500 words- that's excluding the author's notes.

Also a quick warning, I do add some "intense" scenes that may be a little to "hot" for you. But if you want, you can just ask tell me before hand to give out a warning or so.
