18. Arrest Warrant

Henry POV:

My heart was swelled in love with Lindsy.

Now that I’m not holding anything back anymore, I'm relieved and a ton lighter.

I almost lost control today, she was just so hot and the sweet scent of her arousal was the best thing I ever smelled.

“She has a nice ass and a round and edible breast, it seems”, Chaos told me.

“Everything about her looks edible” I confessed to Chaos.

“I want to make her c*m over and over again” ever since we met Lindsy, Chaos became nothing but a horny lovesick pup.

“Soon, I want to pamper her and show her that I really meant every word that left my mouth. I want to show her how much I love her, not by words but through my actions, and then I’m going to tease her until she begs for it and only then, we'll mate and I’ll make sure that it’s going to be the most perfect day of our lives” I told Chaos and he howled in victory.

“It doesn’t mean that we can’t make her c*m” he said, and I smirked.

No, it doesn’t mean that at all, I want to make her feel good, but only after I make sure she’s all right. She just left the Hospital today.

“She will look so sexy coming for the first time” Chaos said.

“Enough, Chaos” I pleaded to him, this conversation was making my angry member throb painfully under my trousers.

I glanced at Lindsy to talk to her.

She asked me to always communicate with her and I would, I don’t want to hide anything from her.

And I asked her the same thing and also, if she wanted to share something with me.

“Yes, I will tell you about myself. I want my life to be an open book for you” she said. It made me feel even more drawn to her.

She was stunning, perfect, not only on the outside, but on the inside as well.

She was showing me that she really wants to be with me and share our life as one.

I held her impossibly closer to my body and then I made her stare at me and I kissed her tenderly.

When we parted, I kept staring at every little perfect feature of her face.

“You’re so beautiful” I told her, my voice wasn’t louder than a whisper and she just melted in my arms.

She was so responsive to my touches that it was driving me crazy. I can’t wait until she turns 18 so we can complete our bond.

“I’m sorry, you can tell me about your life, Lindsy” I told her, holding her hands now, she smiled.

“Don’t apologize for making me feel happy with you” she said, cupping my face.

“I want to make you the happiest she-wolf in The Realms”, I assured her, and we kissed again.

“Let’s go to my office, it will be less tempting than here” I told her, after we parted our kiss and she giggled.

“All right, let’s go” she said, and we intertwined our hands and we left the room and went to the office.

She was about to sit on the chair in front of my desk but I pulled her to my chest.

“Where do you think you’re going?” I asked her and she frowned.

We made our way to my chair. I sat and I made her sit on my lap. She giggled again.

“Sorry, Alpha” she joked, while she was still smiling at me.

Her smile was everything I needed in my life. Chaos was also in peace and happy now.

“It’s more than that”, he reassured me.

I knew what he meant, we both looked like teenagers.

Everything was new to me, this pull, our feelings and it was more than the mate bond itself, it was her, everything about her was dragging me through love and heaven and this time I just feel like leaving myself to fall deep into this new world with her.

Lindsy POV:

I was so in love that I wanted to skip all the talk and give all of myself to Henry.

It would be perfect as long as it was with him, but I didn’t want to let it linger any longer, so I just looked down and took a deep breath. He stared at me, waiting for me to start.

“When I was about 7 years old, I had a friend, I considered her as my best friend, she was older than me and she was an omega, we tried to be friends hidden from my father but one day, he got drunk by Wolfcraig with some drops of wolfsbane, you know how it is to wolf, they don’t get drunk easily and this day my father just felt like it, he had ordered me to clean the dining table but I didn’t because Elise and I were having a good time together…and then…” I was saying and some tears started to fall from my eyes, running down my face and dropping into Henry’s arms, he held me closer “and then he caught us playing and the dining table was still dirty, he got so pissed off that he killed her in front of me and dragged me into the torture room, he took a whip and he started to whip me, I can’t remember how long I stayed there because I was almost fainting of pain, I just remember that I screamed as loud as my lungs let me and my mother went there and she saved me, when my father realized what he was doing, he freaked out, he stopped at the same time and he let me go, but he never apologized for it and from this day on, I always tried to follow his every order afraid of get through this kind of thing again and he knew that, that’s why he was so sure that I would sabotage the pack, that night on the Distributor Center, it was the first time I didn’t follow his order and there’s more into it” I said and I saw that Henry was trying hard to control himself, I laid my head on his shoulder and he relaxed a little.

“He also mind-linked me that I'd better do it or else, he would take it out on my mom and my brother. I called Susan later to let her know about it and my idea of getting rid of it, so she could advise me. I couldn’t tell you because I was afraid you’d end up killing my father and Conri would take your Alpha position and I know how much you care about this Pack. I do too, but I couldn’t ever let something like that happen to you, Henry. I’m so sorry”, I finished my statement, wiping down my tears.

He straightened up and I waited for his reaction.

He was also crying, his hand went to my neck and I glared at him.

“I’m sorry”, I whispered, he placed his thumb softly into my mouth as his big hand was on my neck and his fingers caressing the nape of my neck.

“Shh, don’t you dare apologize ever again, this is not your fault. I’m sorry for everything you’ve been through. It was supposed for me to always protect you and stand by your side. I won’t fail you ever again” he said, and he brought me closer to kiss him.

It was the only thing that could make me relax right now.

“Besides, I got all the evidence we needed to lock him in the dungeon, some royal guards are stalking him right at this moment and they’re all waiting for me to allow it, but I wanted you to wake up so you can do this with me” he told me, after we parted our kiss and my eyes opened wide in surprise.

“And my brother will become the Alpha, then?” I asked him and he nodded.

“Yes and all of them will be free from Mueller” he said, and somehow my heart clenched for my father.

I really wish he could get better, but I had no hope after what he asked Hans to do to me.

“All right, let’s do this then, but before I want to see Eva” I told him, determined.

He nodded and he mind-linked someone.

“I’ve already asked Hunter to bring her over here, I want to spend the waiting time kissing you” he said, and I felt goosebumps all over my body.

He pressed his lips on mine and I parted my mouth for him right away.

Leon POV:

I just couldn’t believe what our father tried to do to Lindsy.

My mother told me the Royal Pack called her and they were worried about our safety and then some royal guards came to tell us the news that Hans was dead and wanted to talk to my father about it.

What the hell is happening?

He didn’t say anything and we also didn’t ask him, we didn’t want to act suspicious and this kind of warning coming from the Royal Pack, we took it very seriously.

“Everybody seems to be hiding something” Phantom said.

Lindsy was unreachable but Henry told us that he would contact us soon, sharing everything that happened when our father was there.

I’m getting insane.

“Mom, any news from the Black Moon Pack?” I mind-linked her.

“Not yet, my dear. I’m getting more impatient each day. I don’t know what’s happening and they are avoiding telling us. All I know is that Susan, the Royal Beta’s mate, called us and told us to be careful and keep our guard up with Mueller”, she said.

Did he try to do something against Lindsy?

“Don’t worry, mom, I will always protect you”, I reassured her.

“I know you will, you’re my good boy and I will also protect you” she said, and I felt a deep connection with my mom for the very first time.

What kind of life are we living?

Suddenly, I heard my father calling me. He was in the living room and I was inside my room.

I went out and made my way to the living room. He was with Miles, a pack member, and his daughter, it seemed.

“Leon, come here, I’m afraid you know Miles already, I’ll make him my new Beta” he said, and I frowned.

It hasn’t been a week since we got to know about Hans’ death. My father really doesn’t care at all for anyone, it was all just business to him.

“He’s f*****g joking, right?” my wolf Phantom asked me ironically.

“Apparently not” I replied to him.

I nodded at Miles and he smiled at me.

“Come on, boy, don’t be shy, give me a hug. We’re about to be family anyway”, Miles said, and I frowned.

“Excuse me?” I asked. Family? As if.

“Actually, Leon, Miles is my new Beta and that will make him a ranked wolf, he’s the strongest we have now, his daughter will be your chosen mate” my father said, like it was not a big deal, and I gasped.

“What? You’re joking, right?” I asked him and he furrowed his eyebrows.

“It certainly looks like I am not and you'd better obey me, boy, or I’ll use my Alpha command on you. You’ll accept it willingly or not, but you will do as I say” he told me, and I had to hold back a loud growl from Phantom.

"Just let him try, I'm sure it won't work for us. Who does he think he is? He's an Alpha but our aura is the most dominant around here". Phantom reassured me.

“Are you OK with this? I’m not even your mate”, I asked Mile’s daughter and she just smiled at me.

“We can figure it out, Alpha” she said, smiling seductively at me and I rolled my eyes.

That’s so f*****g unbelievable. I was still saving myself for my mate and now I’m having my father threatening to use his Alpha tone on me to accept someone I’ve never met before as my chosen mate.

This she-wolf wasn’t even a virgin anymore to offer herself to me like that, she might be like one of those she-wolves who sleep around to get a cup of coffee.

“And I think she just had s*x before coming here. I can smell it”. Phantom said.

“Alpha, can we talk about this?” I tried again.

“Absolutely not, it’s settled” he said and I rolled my eyes, but it just enraged him even more.

“Now both of you go hang out a little so you can get to know each other” he used his command on me, and I’m enraged now.

I felt my aura expanding and my breath was exhaling with a slight growl from my chest.

“What are you doing, Leon? Go now”, he still tried to order me, but I didn't even flinch.

“You want me to mate her? All right then” I said, enraged, and I grabbed her wrist fiercely and looked right into her eyes “I will f**k you now”, I shouted in front of our fathers.

She instantly got aroused, I could smell it.

“Yes, Alpha” she said, and bit her lips.

I dragged her to the kitchen counter and threw her there. I bent her over as I unbuckled my belt.

Suddenly, I could hear someone shouting from the pack house door.

“Alpha Mueller, it’s the royal guards and we have an arrest warrant. Open right this instant” they said, and I buckled my belt again and I rushed to the door as I saw my father’s face frowning in confusion.

I opened the door and greeted them.

“Arrest warrant? Who are you arresting?” I asked them expectantly.

“Your father, Alpha Mueller. He’s been reported to the Royal Service for trying to sabotage the Black Moon Pack and try to get his daughter, Lindsy Redcliff, killed”, they said, and I turned my neck to stare at my father.

I couldn’t help it but stormed out at him and punched his face. He spit some blood and he was still acting like he didn't know what they were talking about.

Pathetic.

“What the hell are you talking about? I didn’t try to get my daughter killed, are you insane?” He shouted.

“Are you really going against the Royal guards, father?” I asked him, ironically grinning in victory and his face was frowned on in confusion. I'd almost believe him if I didn’t know the kind of wolf he was.

My mom came through the door.

“Yes, I tried to sabotage the pack, but no, I didn’t try to get her killed for the Goddess’ sake” he said, but the royal guards arrested him.

They turned to look at me.

“Leon Redcliff, by the King’s blessing, we’re granting you the Alpha Position of the Silver Moon Pack. He’ll be coming in a few days” they said, and I nodded at them.

Phantom howled happily inside my mind.

My mom and I hugged each other.

I turned to glance at Miles and his daughter was also by his side.

“You’re dismissed, get out of the pack house right now if you don’t want to be banished” I yelled at them and they looked down and made their way out.

Fuck, I almost made the biggest mistake of my life because of my rage.

What’s happening to me? I can’t let this darkness take me over.
