King Nicholas sat on his throne, lost in his own reverie. He wanted to be called the father of the child of the gods.

He exhaled deeply and rest his back on the throne, he closed his eyes to rest a little. He was having a severe headache as he couldn't forget his wife's frustrated and dejected look a while ago. He truly wanted to make her happy.

My King, your cabinets wants to speak with you his butler came in and announced and it brought him back from the land of the living. Bring them in, King Nicholas said to the butler hoarse voice.

My King, each chief bowed slightly as they entered the throne room.

My King the head of the the chiefs started. You know we have been waiting for you, for long time now to call our attention to the palace but you re just adamant. You're behaving as if you were the one that place yourself to that throne.we the people are the once that place you there, you should stop acting as if you're almighty and above everyone, the head chief said angrily. And don't you try pretending, you know what we are talking about another chief barked angrily.

I'm doing something about it, he said calmly. We are giving you two months to sought yourself out, after the two months and you didn't do anything about it as usual. We will take it as you are tired or incapable of ruling this great kingdom, another chief said. And we would take drastic measures about it immediately and it may cause you your throne, the chief head said almost immediately. He signaled the other chiefs and they left with him, bowing slightly as they stood up in respect to the King.

The butler came in again after his cabinets have left. Your Majesty, the butler called out and bowed slightly in respect. We received an invitation from the kingdom of Northumbria. King Roman, the great King of the kingdom of Northumbria invites you to his daughter's birthday party in three days time and he's anticipating your coming, Your Majesty, he called again and bow slightly in respect.

Hmmmm, King Nicholas exhaled deeply. I will definitely honour the invitation, King Roman is my very good friend, King Nicholas said to himself. At least to ease some stress through it, he encouraged himself.

My Queen, Queen Esther's personal maid called out respectfully, who was knitting in her chambers. The maid bowed slightly in respect. There's a pregnant woman outside, she's demanding to see the King urgently and she has been causing commotion outside when we asked her to exercise some patience, she said respectfully. I'll be outside in a minute. Queen Esther said in a calm tune, yet with a commanding voice.

After about ten minutes, Queen Esther came out and saw the pregnant woman standing by the side of the East gate entrance. She motioned the guards to bring her closer.

When brought her closer to the Queen, she was standing few meters from the Queen. From the closeness she was able to get a closer view of her.

Queen Esther was staring at the pregnant woman but something was strange about her. Her face holds a mocking smirk, as if she was mocking her of her ordeal. Her face was just like the woman in her nightmares. Everything scene from her nightmares flashed back in a second. And she could feel the negative energy from her. Heat forming on her forehead, she moved back a bit in horror. My Queen are ok, the guards asked almost at the same time, afraid that something must be wrong with their Queen. They immediately rushed to her side to help her.

Did…Did you just smile now? Queen Esther asked the pregnant woman subconsciously. Everyone around stared at her as if she had grown two horns on her head. The pregnant woman in question was not smiling throughout, rather she held a sober look on her face.

That feelings of lost, frustration, rejection and defeated from her nightmares when she was will that woman in the dream was tha same feeling she was feeling now, as if that woman from her nightmares has come to the real world and was standing right bet her and she feels her world would be crumbling soon.

Queen Esther exhaled deeply. Who are you? And why are you here? Queen Esther asked the pregnant woman trying to be calm as much as possible.

The pregnant woman smirked. That smirk I had seen it many times, Queen Esther said fidgeting inside, she tried tried her best to keep her cool, so that no one will notice her fears.

Noticing that she had effect on the Queen, she decided to play her cards well. I'm a distance friend of the King, she said casually while observing Queen Esther. Queen Esther's countenance changed. She began anxious, and it was evident on her face.

Enough of the interrogation, I want to see the King, the pregnant woman demanded. He's not around, Queen Esther said and went back to her chambers immediately leaving the pregnant woman side fuming and cursing her.

The guards immediately swing into action. They took her to the detention room, the Queen didn't ask them to bring her in rather she left without a word and the guards took it as an order to detain her still further notice and since she was cursing their Queen, they didn't mind that she was pregnant. From the detention room, she was still cursing and shouting at everything in sight. What exactly is happening? Queen Esther asked herself. I hope the King is not lying to me. The attitude of that lady gave her away. She's behaving as someone that has leverage over me just like that woman from my nightmares. She must remain in the detention room until I understand the reason of coming to my palace, Queen Esther said firmly to herself.
