Party Favors
In the utter darkness, sound was magnified through the walls or through the closet door: Monica’s steps reverberated as she made last minute preparations for the party. The lack of light might have spared him the ignominy of contemplating what he was wearing, but the tight feel of the black spandex shorts encasing his thighs and gripping his bulge, the cool air on his bare chest, and the feel of the leash dangling from a collar around his neck were constant reminders of just how under-dressed he was for the occasion. How Monica had talked him into putting himself in this predicament was obvious enough.
