Obviously, I’d gone about my proposition to Nova the wrong way. I’d never asked a vanilla to give the lifestyle a try before. All of my submissives came from a club I’d belonged to once. But the club had been destroyed, and the owners never saw fit to open a new one. I’d never even looked for another club to join after that, having gotten too caught up with my business by that point.
My usual forthright way hadn’t worked for me this time, and I had to figure out how to smooth things over with Nova. We did have the whole summer to deal with, after all.
