ADINNA’S POV Riley’s eyes are still on me, wide and incredulous, like I’ve just started speaking another language. I stare back at her, chest tight, not sure how to convince her I’m not imagining things. Maybe even I don’t know. “I haven’t seen him,” I whisper finally, words spilling out before I can stop them. “Not since that night… the night I met him outside.
