I held my children’s hands as protectively as I could and led them toward the Alpha’s car waiting outside the school’s gate. Immediately I opened the backseat door, and they climbed in, I watched twin faces light up when they saw who was in the driver’s seat.
“Daddy!” They were hugging him in a blink. I couldn't help but smile as I placed their school bags on the vacant space and shut the door.
