At the Hospital in fairview valley
Dream
"Hahaha... Micheal stop! Anya is watching us." My mothers laughter filled the dimly lit room. It was so beautiful to be here again.
"Well she needs to watch us, so she knows what being shown affection looks like." My father said, grabbing a hold of me and tickling me.
"You little fairy, you like being tickled Huh" I was laughing so hard my breaths began to exhasperate.
Everything seemed as it was again, so peaceful and beautiful. The beautiful lavender air, that passed through our living room window. The pictures that lit up the house.
"Come my little Angel let's go get dressed, we have a long road ahead," She picked me up and gave me a peck on the cheek.
Their room was always how it had been, the fire place by the corner the beige wool carpet the steel old fashioned bed it was inviting and beautiful to say the least.
My parents were also avid readers so they kept many books on their shelves. My mother stood watching as I jumped off the bed and ran out the door, returning with what seems like a book in my hand.
"Mommy! Mommy!," I'm jumping up and down trying to get her attention as she's zipping the suitcase.
"Okay Sweety, give me the book." I happily hand it to her as she shoves it away with my snacks and toys in back pack and we're ready to go.
I can't describe it but this dream state is all I need, I don't want to wake up, I don't want to grow up anymore.
As I turn around to leave the house, my dream changes and we're upside down.
"Start with the little girl, she's the priority." the lights are red and blue, the sirens are aching and loud.
"Mommy? Daddy?" this day is the day I dread with all my life. The day I lost my parents.

Narration
The sounds of the machine were loud. The nurse was panicking, nothing seemed to be working.
"What's happening here?!“ the doctor shoved her aside and took a look at his patient.
"Her breathing is normal," he checked her pulse as well.
He opened her silver eyes and checked them. The nurse peered through the side, hoping she hadn't done anything to endanger the girl.
He pressed his two fingers on her neck once more and focused on her heart beat.
"She's having a seizure, give her double the human dose of Lorazepam." the nurse shaking in her boots took two small bottles and administered the medication. The quiver of her lips alarmed the nurse.
"Calm down, she's just coming out of it," the nurse took a step back and allowed the doctor to elevate the bed. Her eyes began to flutter open, her dark hair now dry and curled made her cheeks flush.
"Please call, Mr Otto and inform him she is awake." the nurse scurried out of the room.
Indeed she was awake, taking in the room around her she felt scared. She shot up, at the unfamiliar surroundings she saw.
"Where am I? Who are you? Why am I not dead?" the Doctor was confused. The girl began to cry hysterically, putting her in even more distress and making the machines go haywire. The doctor ran to the door and called for a nurse.
"Please administer a strong sedative so she can calm down." she began to limp back into her bed and everything quieted.
Dream
"You're back" the voice erupted from behind. I turned and turned but couldn't see anyone.
"You need to leave this place Anya, it is not for you. They will find you and come get you." My mothers voice echoed in the distance.
"Who? who will come get me?" I responded in hopes that she'd show herself and just then the bright light seemed to dim down.
A beautiful figure appeared before me, her long brunette hair, her seventies fashion belt. She still looked the same.
"You are in Danger," she grabbed my hand and suddenly passage ways appeared before us.
"You need to leave this place, stop crying. The fates are going to reward you beyond measure. I just need you to fight." we began to run down the hall, going into different rooms that opened into other passageways.
"Look at me, everything will work out. Don't give up now." with that the door opened and I was hit by the bright light again.
Dream ends
I woke up to find no one in the room, where is this place? How did I get here? I saw the machines next to me and I thought, a hospital.
Suddenly panic rose within me. My mother said people are coming for me and I'm in danger, I need to leave now. I begin to remove the tubes attached to me. My clothes! I looked around the room. Searched and searched... I opened cabinets but couldn't find them.
Nothing but a brown paper bag.
"Sigh... Maybe my clothes are in there" I said pulling the paper bag. Below them were bathing essentials.
"Hmmm this place is expensive, look at this stuff. Elemis milk bath gel, l'oreal, clinique."
I definitely couldn't afford all these, and who's going to pay for the hospital bill?
I need to get out of here.
I opened the paper bag to find a navy Jean, a white top and brown boots as well as a navy sweater.
"This isn't mine but it will do."
I quickly took a shower and dressed up. Yes. I used the bathing essentials, they'll never see me again so why not?
I felt so refreshed so energized. I felt like the road ahead was going to be better than yesterday. Yes I didn't know where I was going to go but I'd figure it out. First on the list, I get a job then second....
Just as my thoughts had gotten the best of me, I remembered my diary.
My diary with my mother's silver chain in it. I searched the cupboards and then went to the drawers, and I found it.
"Pfewww..." I was so worried. I wore the boots, and sat down before I could leave.
I prayed to the fates, to guide me and help me with my journey.
Surprising that no nurse had come to my room even.
"Ma'am..." a lady entered the door with a dotted shirt and navy blue pants.
"Are you going somewhere?" she looked very afraid. She was shaking even.
"Please don't go they'll fire me from work." she begged me, standing by the doorway with her hands clamped together.
"I'm sorry but I can't afford this hospital, I have to go." Just as I was about to storm out of the hospital, the doctor entered the room.
"Please sit down we'll explain everything," he side eye glanced at the nurse and she faced down.
"It's not her fault please.." I tried to explain to him, he actually listened.
"Your machines did go off, on her pager but she didn't respond." he says glancing at her.
"I'm thankful that you helped me but I can't stay." I stood up.
But they urged me to stay, "The room has been paid for miss". I gasped, I don't have money and I certainly don't know anyone who has money either. Who could have paid for the room?
"Uhmm who paid for it?" I looked to them as they looked at each other.
"We'll talk about that later, you're safe here. How about you tell me who you are?" the doctor inched closer. I was forced to sit down now. I didn't want to seem crazy or hysterical cause they might lock me in here or worse, give me sedatives.
"I am.... Anya" they both sat down too.
"Do you remember what happened to you? You've been here in the hospital for the past three weeks now" I gasped again. Three weeks is a long time.
"I left home to look for work," I lied, It seems a little futile now but I don't trust people.
"And what happened to cause your accident?" There it is, that word, it's bringing back flashing memories of my past. My parents, my pain.
"Your clothes were torn to pieces, shockingly you've healed quite well since then." he pointed at my head and arms.
"I was attacked," my head began to spin. Everything was coming back to me. The rejection, years of being mistreated. Maybe I'll always be alone and suffer. I curled up into a ball on the bed and cried. The nurse started rubbing my back. A comfort that I never knew. It somehow made things worse. Here I am being comforted by a complete stranger and not the man fate gifted me.
"Okay Miss Anya... How about you sleep and we'll talk a little later when I come to check up on you. Remember don't worry about the bill." the doctor left and I was alone with the nurse.
"You have to help me leave," she stared at me blankly.
"Noooo..." I closed her mouth so she doesn't make any noise. We looked at each other, then at the door, then at each other again. She removed my hand so she could speak.
"You can't leave, this place is the safest. Where will you sleep looking for work?" she had visible panic in her eyes.
"Where exactly is this place?“ A deep sigh escaped her lips as she explained to me where I am. The most expensive of valley's. The Utopia of our world. How did I get here? Fairview was unlike any other pack city there was. It's had a population of fifteen million. It was infact a state with many little towns and cities. Ruled by one Lycan King.
The pack I was from was outside of the State of Fairview both ruled by different Kings. What was a Fairview member doing in our state? So many questions buzzed in my head. Just as my thoughts were getting louder, my stomach rumbled.
"Uh Oh, I'm sure you're super hungry. No food in there for three weeks." she seemed more chirpy now, even smiling.
"How about you take off your shoes and hoody and I'll go get you some food?" she stood up excitedly.
"Can't I come with you?" I dread being alone right now. The thought of anything happening again scares me.
"Nope, don't worry yourself Anya... I'll be back with a cart in five minutes." a few minutes later after staring at the window. I heard the wheels of cart creaking.
"I'm back!" she entered excitedly with cart full of food. Fruits, pizza, salads, orange juice, French toast, some jello, some breakfast and some pastries.
My stomach began to grumble more at the sight of the food.
"Hmmm that looks mouth watering," I got off the bed and went to dish up some fruit salad and French toast.
I haven't eaten this good, in forever. Living alone wasn't a pleasant thing. I barely would have enough to get by and the pack member would never help. I often got the idea they wanted me to suffer. Even when I got the part time job at the Diner.. I wouldn't get great tips either.
"Slow down, we don't need another emergency." I giggled. I guess I was eating too fast. She a funny accent, sounded almost italian.
"Where are you from?" she looked away after I asked that question.
"Oh noo it's okay if you can't answer that," she seemed to calm down.
"Europe, my mama and papa moved down here when I was sixteen. At first I didn't like it but it's beautiful here." she seemed to smile at the thought of her parents. I wish mine were still alive.
Our conversation got interrupted by the Doctor walking in on us. He ordered her to go help other patients and he stayed with me. I felt a little uncomfortable, he was creepy and a little cold.
"Anya, there's someone here to see you." he pointed at the door.
"I'll be here if you need anything, but don't be scared, he saved your life."
Just then a man walked in. His dark hair was silky, his eyes bright and gold, his body, he looked like a God. He had a tattoo, going up around his neck from his left arm.
He smelt like honey and brown sugar. His skin was tanned. I was so phased out I didn't feel the tears drop from my eyes. How can fate keep doing this to me? Constantly drawing me back to these painful moments.
"Are you okay?" his voice was comforting. He inched closer to touch me but I pulled back.
"Do you remember what happened to you?" I nodded and he sighed.
"Look, I don't want to hurt you I just want to make sure you're fine."
He held out his hand. And I stood up with him.
"Are you letting me go now?" he looked sad for a moment. He put his hands to his side and rubbed them against his jeans.
"You can't go, your pack said you deserted them and that you're a traitor, that going back would mean your death."
I sobbed, even after I've left they speak I'll and lie against me.
"My Name is Calvin, I found you by the river Bank, I'm sure the doctor explained" he put his hand out for a shake and i instead fist bumped him.
"Ohhkay.... Uhm let's sit down, Are you sure you belong to the moonlight pack?"
What? That's the only pack I've ever known yeah sure they hate me, I don't know why but I'm from there. Well that's until three weeks ago.
"Not anymore...."
