lazy days

Libbys POV

After we finished our love making together, we slept for six hours before I woke up. He held.me to his chest as I struggled to get disentangled from him. "Baby... Baby... Daniel... Let me go. I gotta pee, honey, please..."

He finally let me go and I ran to the bathroom, doing my business, brushing my teeth and hair before washing my face I return to him to see him pouting in bed. "What?" I asked, confused.

He looked so sad and miserable that, when he held his arms open, I went straight to him and wrapped.my arms around him, only to be pulled to the bed in a hug as he crawled.on top of me. "You look sexy as hell in my tee shirts baby." he growled and nipped my mark.

I could never deny him because every time he touches me I feel him waking the burning within my body and suddenly my scent peaked and my body was burning all over. My head was spinning and I fell onto the bed, moaning and clutching my head. "s**t. Shit... Fuck... Dammit all." I cursed and looked up at him as his eyes suddenly swirled with the glowing of his wolf waking. "I am going into heat..." I whispered to him as I flushed, my skin turning bright red as it turned sensitive to the touch as well as hot. "This is supposed to be a business trip and I ruined it." I wailed to him as he pulled his shirt off of me, noting the bright redness of my skin, the scent my body gave off made him moan and he crawled down between my thighs.

"I'll cool you off and go get drinks and protein bars so we dont starve to death over the next couple of days. Dont worry, its random and unexpected but natural, my love." he replied to my embarrassed wails.

His face crept closer to my needy self and I finally grabbed him by the hair and pulled him into me with a needy groan. "Dont tease me, my love... I need you and your touch now. Right now!" I cried out as his tongue began to work its magic on my hot, needy core.

four hours later

Daniel's POV

I finally got her cooled down enough to rest and I threw on some shorts and the tee she had been wearing and rushed, quietly, from the room. I was rubbing my jaw and hurrying down the steps when I ran into the Luna. "Luna Jacobson, I must apologize for my wife, she has unexpectedly gone into heat and..." I trailed off.

"My goddess, what terrible luck. Dont worry, let's head to the kitchen and get you some lunch and Gatorade before you fall over and she suffers without you." She spoke to me as she turned to rush down the stairs to the kitchen to begin ordering the omegas around and the Alpha showed up for lunch.

She explained to him why I had missed our meeting and he clapped me on the shoulder, with a sincere look. "Bad timing, Daniel. Do not worry, the omegas are well trained." he looked at me with pity as he continued speaking. "A female's first heat can be exhausting and at your rank can last up to a week. My darling went for ten days her first heat and has settled down to a seven day cycle now. We can put everything off until she is finished, Daniel. For now, it is time you formally bond with your mate. Do not forget you can let your wolf out for breaks so that you can rest enough to get her to pass out and sleep. When my Magen goes to sleep is when I am able to get things done. At least it only happens twice a year, eh?"

"Oh, dear goddess, twice a year..." I moaned and nearly everyone laughed. "She is going to kill me..."

As the laughing died away I found two mugs of tomato soup, six grilled cheeses and two bacon wrapped grilled cheese on plates in front of me, on a dining tray. next to it was a bag of water, gatorade and two dr peppers for us. I thanked them profusely as I rushed back to our room , slipping in the room before she awakened.

So the next week went, s*x, food, sleep with hydration breaks as many as she could before we had to continue to keep her out of misery. Libby was so embarrassed that at one point, she tried to apologize to the Luna for her heat and was cornered by eight unmarked males and I had to threaten to fight for my mate for all the males to back away. They were young, not mated and urged on by her scent but not enough so they would fight me for her. I rushed her to the room and threw her onto the bed, struggling between shouting at her for leaving the bedroom suite and pouncing on her due to her need of me. I settled on a talk after I cool her down to keep her from leaving the room.

It's the ninth day of her heat and she shoved me away last night and dropped into a restful sleep and I was left with the choice of beating it or sleeping. I fell asleep and when I woke up, i heard the shower running as she washed off her hear scent and I laid her a summer dress and shoes out by the bed and climbed into the shower with her for another round.

She was disgusted with me afterwards and glared at me when we were done. "Not cool, babe. That was totally uncalled for." she pouted.

"No, uncalled for was making me jerk off to finish last night... that's why you had a sticky back this morning." I teased her and she waved a half hearted slap at my arm before she blow dried her hair and put on some lip stain. I loved that she never wore a lot of makeup. She was a natural beauty and I smiled when she came out in her towel to dress.

I hopped into the shower and dried off to put on a pair of black Jean's and a light blue button down rolled up to the elbow. My sneakers complete my look as my lovely mate pins back her hair to fall down behind her shoulders and we can finally escape the room for the omegas to clean and fumigate the scent out of it.

Her chocolate brown locks fell behind her shoulders in waves and curled under at the ends. The sweet scent of her body filled the room as we headed down for breakfast. The younger wolves were envious of us but they didnt know how much trouble was involved in a heat cycle, they would learn.

Everyone greets us and smiles to us. "Gamma Libby, I am so pleased that you are finished so that we can see your beautiful face." she said happily.

"Thank you, Luna," she replied and I let out a protective growl and the Luna simply laughed a delightful sound.

two days later

We finished the talks with the pack yesterday and even got them interested in the panic rooms for the pack in case of attack. Once everything was gone over, I drew up the contracts and we signed and shook on it. Now we are on our way to St. Augustine to see the lighthouse and head to the beach.

Libby is excited as she watched one of those ghost hunting shows that involved the lighthouse and she was certain that she would see a ghost.

After spending the entire day with her in the lovely city, we headed back with souvenirs for our friends and a signed paper stating we climbed the whole lighthouse. Pictures took from the top showed the sea and how high we were.

We spent the rest of the day on the beach and making my lovely mate happy. After we signed all our paperwork all I could think of was how disappointed she was she didnt get to "put her feet in the ocean" and it made me want to make sure she was happy and content before we headed back tomorrow.
