Libbys POV We boarded our jet and I plopped myself beside Daniel, hissing as I brushed my sunburned shoulder on the leather seat. The cool touch made me hiss in relief as I whimpered. "I cant believe I forgot sunscreen at the ocean." I pouted. He had the nerve to laugh before pulling out a big bottle of aloe. He pulled my shirt off after placing me into his lap and began to massage the cooling gel into my skin. I couldnt help but moan since it felt so good. As we landed, her pulled my shirt over my head, at least I wouldnt have a sunburn tomorrow. The heat from it was just ten times more intense than a human would feel. I darted into the car so I wouldnt be in the sun longer. Our driver was a male omega that was Daniel's childhood friend. He grinned as I dove into the car and grabbed ice from the bar to run it over my chest. "Stop laughing at me, asshole, or you can run ten miles extra for training." I bitched at him before both of them bent over laughing at me. When we pulled out, I had a flash of fear and I stiffened, I havent told anyone about my ability and was just about to when there was a sudden crashing sound and the driver in our car disappeared a moment before the driver in the semi disappeared a moment before light flashed across my vision in a burst of white and I was consumed by darkness. When I woke up, I was in a dark room with candles scattered around. I groaned and tried to sit up, my vision clouded again and I slid into the darkness once more. Daniel's POV "Where is she?!" I bellowed, slamming my hands on the gurneys and slamming one into another to break the pair of them. Our ambulance was first on the scene as the crash detector went off and they scrambled to the airport to cut the limo open only to find me, alone. Libby disappeared in the two minutes I was unconscious and so did our driver. I flipped the rolling table so high it hit the ceiling and shattered on the floor. "Find Libby!" I snapped at our tracking team, fangs bared, eyes slashing from one person to the next as I screamed out my anger and frustration before ripping one of the mattresses in half and biting the foam. She was missing and no one knew where. I had already called her parents to see if she had blinked home and she hadnt. She was gone and the scent of male was all over the semi that had hit us. The scent was familiar, but I couldnt place it... I know that scent. The trackers would get the scent and I told them to use her pillow to find her. I was pacing before the doctor came to stitch up my jagged arm wound so it would heal faster. I ended up ripping through some stitches before he pulled out the staple gun and used that instead. Once he finished and I could get out of the hospital wing to the Alpha's office I ran all the way there. "Peter... Have you heard anything?" "No," Peter said, shaking his head as he tried to find the accident on traffic cameras. I hung my head and clutched the mahogany desk he sat behind. I didnt know why I was so affected, it was like there was a beast inside me, my insides turned to fire since I couldnt find her. Our bond was still growing and she was alive, but that was all I knew.
