Wolf's bane

Libbys POV

I woke up, groaning at the vile taste in my mouth, my eyes fluttering open in the candle filled room a moment before I feel a sting in my left arm and a hiss of pain escapes my lips.

Daniel's POV

It was the second day since I woke up and Elizabeth was gone. I miss her more and more each moment. I feel the strain of our bond, a pain across my forehead, then my mouth tastes vile and I feel a burning pain in my left arm.

I rushed to Doc Chambers, interrupting her meeting with the Alpha and Luna. "Wolf's bane! They are injecting her with Wolf's bane and I can barely feel that she is alive!" before I collapsed on the floor, pounding it with my fists.

This caused the Luna to leap to her feet and cower in a corner with quiet fear, eyes wide as tears pour down her cheeks, the deep blue of her eyes flashing to glow as her wolf leapt forward to growl and gnash her teeth at the mention of wolf's bane.

Doc Chambers injected the Luna with propofol and flexeril to knock her out before her wolf, Sally, could make her way to the surface further and destroy the Doc's office.

The Luna lay on the floor until Peter picked her up and cradled her in his arms. I was filled with a need to find my mate but the confusion over the Luna's reaction had me curious. "Why did she react that way?"

"She obviously has some PTSD about wolf's bane, and the only thing I can think of is Sally is suppressing the memories and causing the amnesia of her time away." Doc Chambers said, stroking her hand through her hair.

Peter caressed her like the precious gem she is to him, tears rolling down his cheeks as he held the love of his life, the woman he mated with the pure blessing of the moon goddess.

I coughed, feeling nervous in the presence of the Alpha's only weakness and his greatest strength, his Luna.

He looked up, his eyes dark with anger. "Find out what happened to my Luna and find Elizabeth." he ordered the guard and looked at me with pity. "I know what you are experiencing more than most do, Danny. I will do my best and help you find your mate. Call Christine Wilson, our resident witch and have her do her best to locate her."

He shifted his mate in his arms as he stood. "I'm taking Margot back to her hospital room and then, its time to alert the packs that someone is abducting ranked females and dosing them with wolf's bane to keep them docile and without their memories.

"We need an alpha meeting to find out if it's happened to other packs in America let alone Detroit and Canadian areas. Gamma, get the rooms ready and menus planned out for a full weekend, this full moon starts a week from Saturday, let's hold it then."

I nodded, relaying orders as quickly as I could to the staff and heading back to my room, I felt a burning pain in my right arm as my mate was either chained with silver or injected with more wolf's bane. I grabbed her pillow and inhaled the scent of her hair from it, bringing a tear to my eye before I headed to the shower.

Pain lanced through my abdomen and I hit the floor as redness appeared around my c**k, there were scratches starting to appear around my belly as I felt the pain of Libby being taken. She was being forced to have s*x, she would never cheat, a believer in the mate bond, she would remember the pain it would inflict on me. She is a kind-hearted wolf and would never cheat, because she loves me.

I write on the floor for the hour long assault before I put my robe on to make my way down to the hospital wing. Doc Chambers has to have something for this pain. By the time I made it to the intake desk, it started again and I cried out involuntarily as I fell before the nurse at the desk and clutched my stomach in misery.
