Pure Light

    It was said in the beginning of time there were more of what we call pure lights. There was a balance between the two. In times of war the darkness swept the land but in times of hope or peace the light too would grow. Neither one was supposed to truly  out weight the other.      One day those two decide to challenge the order of things, for they could not help the one thing that tore at them. Neither one really felt like they belonged on their side of the balance. But they knew that on the first mount they saw each other everything was about to change. Every night they would sneak out to see each other under the moon's light. They couldn’t help what happened next. Neither one knew what was happening before it happened. They had fallen in love with each other, one light and one dark. They know they shouldn’t because it was forbidden. Noone was willing to break that rule after all, how could it even work.
