Chapter One: Arriving
Amaura Pierce back in the windows in the other bedroom as rain poured sounds in the night sky. The moon casting long dark; shadows, across her, freshly mowed lawn. Further down the street, you could see the street lamps flickering on and off. There were no sounds besides the occasional flattering and playing against the window or the sound of leaves rustling in the wind. For some reason, this father Amaura and she wasn't sure why.
Maybe it's a werewolf thing? Amaura thought. Although she'd never seen seen other werewolves aet annoyed by the silence of the night. She's always had this problem never since she was a child. But, her parents just said she would grow out of it eventually.
Amaura leaned against the window and sighed. Tomorrow she would be leaving for Supernatural Academy, Amaura had spent all afternoon packing with the help of her mother. She would be gone for a year and could only come for the holidays, Amaura felt nervous about leaving home.
Plus, she didn't like the idea of being surrounded by other magical beings, werewolves were pack animals, but they are also very secretive. But, Amaura knew that she had to go if not for her, then for her parents. Amaura heard a knpck on the door.
"Sweetheart it's time. Your father is waiting for you outside" her mother's voice drifted in.
Amaura sighed and walked over to her bed to grab her suitcase. Looking around her room one last time Amaura, couldn't help but shed a few tears; she never wanted to leave, but this was an opportunity, of a life time. Amaura hugged her mother before walking outside to see her dad standing by the car.
"You ready pumpkin?" Amaura nodded and handed her dad, her suitcase to put in the car. Amaura got into the passenger seat. As they drove, Amaura looked out the window.
"Amaura it's okay, to be scared about this," Amaura gazed at her father.
"I know it's just, what if I don't get along with anyone?" Amaura confessed.
"You will, trust me" Amaura leaned into her father side and closed her eyes, "and other werewolves are going, to be there as will" her father added. Amaura just nodded and sighed.
"How long until we're there?"
"About four hours," Amaura nodded.
And felt herself being pulled into darkness, as she slept. She couldn't wait for this to be over. Amaura woke up to someone shaking her arm.
"Amaura, wake up I got breakfast" Amaura opened her eyes and sat up. Yawning she grabbed to pancakes, and smiled.
"thanks dad"
"No problem I thought you might be hungry," Amaura, looked out the window. The sun was high above the clouds, and the wind blows causing leaves to fall onto the ground.
"Will be at the academy, in five minutes," Amaura nodded and continued to look out the window. A huge waterfall was in front of them and gasping; as water stopped allowing them to past up head Amaura could see a ginormous structure as tall as a castle. there was bridge's and stairs, going all around it. Amaura looked to her father, nodding he stopped the car. They we're here.
