Prologue
Gripping my upper arm tightly he opened the room and pulled me inside. I staggered forward, almost falling on my front when he left me abruptly. I turned and looked up at his stoic face. That face which always survives without an ounce of emotion on it. If I were not an observant person, I could have missed the rage in his eyes. He was angry that I knew but his whole body was calm, too calm. With the front few buttons of his shirt open, he rolled the sleeves while staring at me. He tilted his head and ever so slowly his face enveloped with a malicious smirk.
He took steps forward, involuntarily I took my steps backwards.
"Why though? Are you afraid of me now, Little Doe?" He asked, mocking me and kept walking with slow steps towards me. What happened? Where is your courage which you showed a few minutes ago
Afraid? Do I?
No, I'm not afraid but a feeling which I had buried deep inside my heart resurfaced.
"You have always pulled the brave face of yours in the most difficult situations in front of me but what now? Ain't you determined and confident now?"
No, I don't think so because, for the first time in my life, I'm losing myself. I am lacking confidence because I don't know If am doing the right thing or not.
"Do you think I won't catch this facade of your personality which you are putting up in front of me by doing all these silly antics and pretending to be a fake lover?" He said, chuckling without any humour but soon his face lost his normal self too and turned into an extreme void of expressions.
My eyes widened. How did he know?
That time I feared him. Yes, I feared him.
Would he hurt me or insult me?
He never hurt me in any way but now I feared what he would do? Surely he seemed to be an outcast, arrogant and jerk but I doubt if he hurt me.
But on the other hand, my little heart anticipated what's going to be next?
With two long strides, he stood close to me, making my breath hitch. My back collided with the wall behind me and I gasped.
Oh no!!
My heart started beating fast. I need to get out of here. I know he could hear my thumping heart and somewhere in my nether regions, a heat is burning up which evoked so many desires in me. s**t!!
He put both his hands around my head on the wall and neared me.
"Even if you pretend, you lie, you act or show fake feelings to the world but…."
Bending down and nearing my face, he said further, "..those things still don't sit well with me. You worked hard, very hard and didn't get anything but now when you give up, don't you want to know what you have got?" He asked, whispering.
I was long lost in his eyes and words. I couldn't understand the thing but I was waiting for his further explanations.
"You Little Doe, finally got what you have ever wanted." Saying this he slammed his lips onto mine but I was too shocked by his revelation. My eyes were wide open.
Finally, I got it…
Is this a dream?
